JOURNEY SO FAR (VOL.1)

AWGU NORTH CONSTITUENCY IN FOCUS‼

THE JOURNEY SO FAR; ACHIEVEMENTS RECORDED BY HON. MRS JANE ENEH (AGUDO NWANYI), CHIEF WHIP ENHA.

VOL. 1

In order to curb and cushion the ripple effects of communication gap between the leaders and the led, it has become very imperative to always x-ray the various achievements of any public servant periodically for public perusals. It is in so doing that the public would be availed the opportunity to feel the impact of the dividend of democracy their representative has put on the table of her constituency within the time frame of been in office.

Democracy (according to some school of thought) has it that "Democracy is the Government of the people, by the people and for the people". Thus, in affirmation to this dictum, the achievements on record by Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, (Agudo Nwanyi), Chief Whip ENHA, within her 365 days in office are enlisted below;

*Sponsored some bills and motions in the legislative chamber.

*Distribution of palliatives ranging from bags of rice, tubers of yam, cartons of noodles to the indigents in ten towns in her constituency to contain the effects of the spread of the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

*Distributed bags of rice to some of the party Executives and Stakeholders during the Xmas celebration.

*Skill acquisition and community financial support programs through her NGO...."Jane Cares Foundation".

*She defrayed the hospital bills of indigent patients in Awgu North during one of her constituency tour.

*She attracted projects on building and renovation of some Primary and Secondary schools in Awgu North constituency.

*Repairs of damaged structures and chairs in Community Secondary school (CSP) Ogugu popularly called 'Compi'.

*Payment of tuition fees of 110 indigents student (From JSS 1-3) cutting across all the secondary schools in her constituency.

* Political appointments and job employments.

*Creating of an active and a functional constituency office in her constituency.

*Adding to her profile the office of the Chief Whip in ENHA, as a principal officer in the legislative chamber.

In appraisal for these catalyst of achievements recorded as she marked her one year in office on the 8th of June, 2020 (which if not for the effect of COVID-19 virus pandemic) she would have added more feathers to her cap, the people of Awgu North constituency (both home and in Diaspora) are very much proud in having a great achiever and a "caring mother for all" as their representative.

Providence have made it possible that in all her: Acts of charity, kind-spirited philanthropies, unbiased kind gestures and benevolences, Youthocracy inclusion and empowerments, political appointments and Job slot employment opportunities given to people, hospitality and care for the less privileged, her name has permeated successfully into the hearts and sands of history in Awgu North constituency and Awgu Local Government Council in general.

Long live Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Chief Whip ENHA!

Long live Agudo Nwanyi!

Long live Awgu North constituency!

Long live Awgu L.G.A!

Long live Enugu State, for behold, Enugu State is truly in the hands of God!!
