CHIEF WHIP APPRECIATED UNITED MEN AND WOMEN FOR GBURUGBURU & CECILIA GROUP
CHIEF WHIP ENHA, HON. MRS JANE ENEH (AGUDO NWANYI) INVITED
UNITED MEN AND WOMEN FOR GBURUGBURU & CECILIA GROUP TO APPRECIATE THEM
Upon invitation by the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), United Men and Women for Gburugburu and Cecilia group trooped-in to the office of the Chief Whip at the Enugu State House of Assembly complex in their numbers comprising of their General State Co-ordinator, two Awgu local government excos (male and female co-ordinators) as well as the twenty two ward co-ordinators (eleven male co-ordinators & eleven female co-ordinators) in honour of the invitation message sent across to them.
While addressing the United men and women for Gburugburu & Cecilia group, the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi) appreciated them for turning up to her invitation and explained to them that her reason of calling them was necessitated out of the need to thank them in a very special way over their solidarity support to her during the campaign period. According to her "After emerging victorious in the election, it will be very unfair of me to forget those who threw their weights around me as their candidate under the scotching sun during the electioneering period without appreciating their sacrifices and efforts", hence the motive for her spread of invitation to them for appreciation in a surprised manner.
In the mood of the awesome glamour, the General State Co-ordinator in the person of Hon. Mrs Josephine Nwokedike expressed her level of astonishment that since her years in politics, she has been observing the terrain of how politicians do not appreciate certain groups that contributed to their victories after elections but this singular character exhibited by the Chief Whip has proven to her that the biblical slogan of "When the righteous is in power, the people rejoice" is true and testifiable. She continued by telling the local government and the ward excos to continuously pray for the Chief Whip for appreciating their efforts and never relent in their support to her so that as she climbs higher in her political career, they would be remembered for good.In the light of the appreciation that left smiles on the faces of the group members, they sang several songs of happiness and prayed to God to keep blessing the Chief Whip for them because she is a woman with a golden heart.
In her closing speech, the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh admonished the group members to continue praying for his Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus) who made her whom she is today.
