Chief Whip ENHA congratulates Ugwuanyi on Enugu State @29


*CHIEF WHIP ENHA CONGRATULATES  UGWUANYI ON ENUGU STATE @29* 

At a press briefing today 27th August, 2020 on the occasion of Enugu State @29 at the hallowed chamber of the Enugu State House of Assembly complex, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), member representing Awgu North constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly congratulated His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus) for his giant political strides especially in the area of security expertise that our people are enjoying in Enugu State, saying it was courtesy of Ugwuanyi's peace-loving nature, legacies of peace and good governance. 

The legislator also pointed out that just yesterday, House of Assembly organised a public hearing on a bill for an act to establish the Enugu State Forest Guards, to assist in maintenance of law and order in the state and for connected purposes, a proactive community policing initiative in Ugwuanyi's administration to beef up security manpower in our dear Enugu State to still prove that our dear Governor is always on the wheel to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for the citizenry.  

Furthermore, in a bid to facilitating more peace, he has also summoned the State Executive Council for a meeting by next week tuesday, 1st September 2020 for security deliberations to put in place more  measures in maintaining that existing status quo of Enugu being the most peaceful state in Nigeria.

The legislator cum lover of peace admonished ndi Enugu to continue to pray and support Governor Ugwuanyi in his good governance for more infrastructural developments in the state, stressing that it is only in a peaceful environment that progress strives. 

She further extended her eulogies to the founding fathers of Enugu State in the likes of late Chief CC Onoh, Chief Enechi Onyia SAN, HRH late Igwe Charles Abangwu and other great leaders who played by the gallery for the creation of Enugu State in 1991 and prayed that may the good work of our heroes past not be in vain. 

In her concluding speech, she said; Happy birthday to ndi Enugu State as she marks 29years of it creation. 

Enugu State @29 remains  in the hands of God.
