 *CHIEF WHIP PLAUDIT UGWUANYI, FGN FOR RE-OPENING OF THE AIRPORT*

Chief whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), member representing Awgu North constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly today Sunday, 30th August 2020 gave kudos to the Governor of the state, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus) and the Federal Government of Nigeria for their collective roles on the swift actions taken towards re-opening of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu, especially with regards to the huge capital committed on the repair of the runways of the airport.

 While addressing news men shortly after the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Whip said the re-opening of the Airport has opened up windows to boost back the economic activities of the state and will also go a long way in helping all the staff of the airport to get back to work after a long period of compulsory sit at home during the maintenance of the runways.

While stressing further, she congratulated every indigene of Enugu State for this welcome development and asked all to keep praying and supporting Governor Ugwuanyi in his administration for more catalyst of developments and infrastructures in the state for Gburus has a lot to offer ndi Enugu.

 In her concluding remark, she asked all to key into the peaceful legacy of the Governor for it is only in a peaceful environment that progress and development strives.

 Truly Enugu State is in the hands of God through the right person on the helm of affairs and His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus) is the right man and the most competent technocrat on this wheel.
