ENUGU STATE: A SALUTE TO AN EAGLE DIPLOMAT ON PEACE RESTORATION,UGWUANYI'S ADEPT STEPS VERY COMMENDABLE

A SALUTE TO THE EAGLE DIPLOMAT; AN EXEMPLARY ILLUSTRATION OF GOV. UGWUANYI'S PEACEFUL LEGACY AS A CASE STUDY

Looking into retrospect, one cannot help but ponder on how the peaceful status quo of Enugu State, which hitherto to this time has always been the envy of other states as the most peaceful state in Nigeria, just under a twinkle of an eye such narrative changed over night. 

This is unlike Enugu State, the long applauded  headquarter of the old  Eastern region, the home of serene environment where investors & visitors troop in every weekend for relaxation. The home for the best fresh palm wine and mouth watering Abacha joint. Why all of sudden, these narratives changed over night? Why? Why? Why?

The more I keep pondering on the reasons behind the paradigm shift over night, the more my head burst into unending curiosity of odd thinking if this was how our founding fathers  designed Enugu for us as ndi Enugu? No way, this wasn't and won't be the dream of our founding fathers for ndi Enugu because a father will always bless his offspring and wish them well. So why the change of narrative? Why? Why? Why?

In all my pondering dilemma, I was able to come out of my comatose by stumbling & taking solace in the slogan of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus global) that ENUGU STATE IS IN THE HANDS OF GOD.

Recalling a popular scriptural verse in the Bible that says "The thief cometh to steal, kill & to destroy but the son of man cometh so that we might have life and have it even more in abundance". Apparently, the son of man that has cometh in our time is *GBURUS*, that is why with his peaceful nature and legacy, we are still rest assured of security of lives and properties in the state (even in abundance) because at the resumption of office, our dear Gov. Ugwuanyi committed the state into the hands of God. So, anything committed into the hands of God is safe and secured. Thus, I'm very much optimistic to say that God's hands are upon ndi Enugu. Our state of peaceful coexistence is a clear pointer to the above dictum. 

However, despite this trying time for the state, Gov. Ugwuanyi was still alive to his primary responsibility to his people which is protection of the lives and properties of the citizenry, hence he embraced peace, practised peace, preached peace and finally restored peace. That was a NOBLE thing to be done by any NOBLE MAN OF PEACE , and Gov. Ugwuanyi stands in that gap. Thus, I give out my SALUTE TO THE EAGLE DIPLOMAT; GBURUS GLOBAL, Ezigbo mmadu. 

Based on the normalcy that has returned to our dear ENUGU STATE, I applaud our ebullient & visionary Youth-friendly Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus global) for his holistic steps and capacity in restoring peace back to the state. 

While regretting the ugly incidences on loss of lives & properties in the last few days, I enjoin other well meaning Nigerians especially the Youths Constituency to embrace the path of peace and tranquillity for the sake of our dear HOME STATE. 

Drums of war will only add more sorrows to our already bleeding hearts, hence we say PEACE, BE STILL, For the Egyptians you see today, you will see them no more.  Enugu State belongs to all of us, hence let's join hands to build it and not to destroy it. 

Enugu State has always been and will continue to remain in the hands of God...AMEN!!
