CHIEF WHIP JOINS THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY TO COMMEMORATE THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD CELEBRATION

.....Advocates that all should shun violence and abuse against women.

In a press release today, 11th October 2020, the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), Member representing Awgu North constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly joins the global community  in commemorating the International Day of the Girl Child with a theme "MY VOICE, OUR EQUAL FUTURE". 

In her speech, she advocates for gender equality, training, support, protection and empowerment of a girl child for a brighter future of our society. 

Stressing further, she admonished individuals to put a stop to the absymal comatose of domestic violence, abuse and rape on a girl child as the percentage increase of such incidences are inadvertently rampant lately. 

She advocates that all should lend a VOICE today on securing the future of a girl child, for we all have EQUAL FUTURE together.
