INT'L STUDENTS' DAY: CHIEF WHIP ENHA ENJOINED ALL TO GIVE EDUCATION UTMOST PRIORITY.

CHIEF WHIP ENHA JOINS THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY TO MARK THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS' DAY

PRESS RELEASE

Today, Nov. 17th, 2020 as the global world commemorates the "INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS' DAY", a day which was originally set aside to commemorate the Czech University Students' activism in Nazis in the year 1939 before it was modified by the International community as a day to celebrate the multi-culturalism of the students all over the world, the Chief Whip ENHA; Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh enjoined all to join hands in giving Education all the utmost priorities it requires so as to groom our pupils for a better future from it.

In her words of appreciation, Chief Whip lauds Gov. Ugwuanyi's led administration for always been on the top list in priotizing the educational sector with his unrelenting efforts in school projects across the state both in the urban/rural areas and asked all to keep supporting His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (GBURUS) initiative for he meant well for the welfare of our students (whom by providence) are the pride of our future.

However, in complimenting our Governor's efforts in his transformation agenda in the Educational sector, I have also in my own little capacity set aside a fully funded "JANE CARES ADULT LITERACY EDUCATION INITIATIVE PROGRAM" for the youths and the elderly in my constituency so that no one will be missing any form of opportunity in attaining the primary stage of education in his/her life time, the Chief Whip said in her own words.

Hence, it is our collective responsibility to be partners in this progress by enrolling our loved ones into the ongoing adult education program for a better and brighter future of our society while still supporting our pupils in the other citadel of learnings, Chief Whip also added.

Chief Whip in her concluding message advised all to continue to give-in their best in their own little capacity towards supporting the education of our pupils for it's a good legacy that the students would never forget in ages to come.
