JUST-IN: CHIEF WHIP ENHA WROTE A HEART WARMING TRIBUTE ON THE LATE CEO OF ASTON VILLE HOTEL LTD

HONOUR TO WHOM IT IS DUE:

LATE CHIEF FABIAN NWAFOR IN FOCUS!!

My beloved people of Awgu LGA, I greet you all most warmly.

On the 28th day of June, 2020, we lost Chief Fabian Nwafor, MD/CEO Aston Ville Hotels LTD Enugu.

“A tree has fallen! A tree has fallen!  A naive young man once said to his father. The old man looked and walked in the direction of the fallen tree. This is not just a tree, my son. This is the tree, the tree of all trees. This is the Iroko.”

Those who were familiar with Late Chief Fabian Nwafor, know assuredly that an Iroko tree has fallen in Awgu LGA; a great man has passed on.

Here was an eminent entrepreneur, an astute politician, a businessman per excellence, a celebrated personality whose revered presence and blessed life was a source of blessing to Ndi Awgu and Enugu state. One we were all proud of and greatly cherished.

There is no doubt that we would have wanted him to live longer but unfortunately, we lost him to the cold hands of death.

Our hearts are heavy. We mourn this great and irreparable loss. Awgu mourns, Enugu state mourns.

Fabian will be missed and remembered fondly by all particularly his family and friends, the good people of Awgu LGA and Enugu state, who were not just his constituency but part of his family.

He was a good man who gave his best for the good of community and humanity.

My heart goes out to his family, the good people of Awgu LGA and all concerned, who are mourning the painful exit of this illustrious son of Awgu.

As Onyeukwu embarks on his final journey out of this passing world on Saturday 21st November, 2020, let us take it upon ourselves to accord him last respect. This is a duty we owe him and ourselves.

Adieu Chief Fabian Nwafor!

Adieu Onyeukwu!!

Signed:

Hon. Mrs Jane C.Eneh

Chief Whip Enugu State House of Assembly.
