THANKSGIVING: AGUDO WOMEN ATTENDS MAJOR GEN. NZE RETIREMENT SERVICE


CHIEF WHIP ENHA CELEBRATES WITH MAJOR GENERAL EDWARD OKECHUKWU NZE @ HIS THANKSGIVING SERVICE OF 35YRS OF MERITORIOUS SERVICE IN THE ARMY

Today Dec. 27th 2020, several dignitaries from within and outside the state stormed the hilly city of Ezere community to celebrate with an achiever and astute scholar; Major General Edward Okechukwu Nze (Rtd) during his thanksgiving service of 35years of Meritorious service in the Nigerian Army @St. Paul's Catholic Church, Ezere where Most Rev. Dr. John Okoye, the Catholic Bishop of Awgu Diocese officiated the mass alongside with some other priests in Awgu Diocese.

At the end of the service, the celebrant; Major General Edward Okechukwu Nze appreciated all the participants and also used the opportunity to call for financial support from his invited guests towards the roofing of their parish church building project.

The Chief Whip who was unavoidably absent due to her other engagements was aptly represented by Hon. Gladys Chukwu in company of a host of other Agudo Women in their numbers, made a substantial donation on behalf of the Chief Whip in support of the roofing of the Parish Church building project and at the same time presented to the celebrant a whopping fat envelope as a gift in congratulation to him for all his selfless services while in the Army.

The event recorded a huge success as all the invited guests congratulated the celebrant for his great records during his service years in the Army.

The President General of OHANEZE ND'IGBO; CHIEF NNIA NWODO was also present at the thanksgiving service to show solidarity to the Rtd. Major General.
