PDP WARD CHAIRMEN IN AWGU NORTH CONSTITUENCY PAID A COURTESY VISIT TO THE CHIEF WHIP ENHA

 ....Lauds the legislator over her success stories.

In her office at the Enugu State House of Assembly complex, the PDP Party Ward Chairmen of the five wards in Awgu North Constituency paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi) today Monday, 8th day of March, 2021.

Speaking on the essence of their visit, the ward party chairman of Ogbaku ward who doubles also as the  Co-ordinator of the Ward Chairmen, Hon. Michael Okonkwo told the Chief Whip that their visit was necessitated out of the need to applaud her for all the giant political feat that she has achieved in the constituency within this short period of her stay in office. According to him, the news of her political appointment of 58 aides, 1st & 2nd tranche of school building/renovation projects attracted, deployment of set of chairs and tables to various Primary and Nursery schools in the wards, Valentine celebration with the youths of the five wards, her down to grassroot style of representation, yearly Christmas surprises to all the party Executives and Stakeholders in the five wards, Adult Education program for both the youths and the elderly in the ten towns of the wards, periodic empowerment and human capital developments for the youths and widows in the wards, payment of the tuition fees of 100 indigent students in the various community Secondary schools in the wards on every term basis, day-to-day uncountable acts of charity and philanthropies to the constituents and a host of other initiatives she undertakes in the Constituency to better the lives of the people are indeed something that requires applaud and commendations for a legislator who is only one year plus in office. 

Stressing further, the ward chairman of Agbogugu ward, Hon. Mathias Egbo thanked the Chief Whip for her consistent impress on refreshments during their ward meetings, saying that it takes only a person who have a humane nature of good heart to be making such a frantic sacrifice for the welfare of her people. He also acknowledged the kind gestures of some of her appointed aides who do also add some spices to the ward meetings with one or two donations and prayed that the rest of her aides who do not attend ward meetings to borrow a leaf from her foot steps on the need to always identify with their people at ward meetings for the success of the party is a collective effort and a game of numbers.  

While responding to their speeches, the Chief Whip appreciated the party ward Chairmen for their visit and their constant supports to her office and re-assured them that she will continue to do her best to live up to the mandate bestowed upon her by the constituents in terms of service delivery.

In her concluding remark,  Chief Whip charged them to continue in their support to Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration and also not to relent in their efforts towards making our great party a formidable one at the grassroots. 

Enugu State is in the hands of God.
