PDP WARD MEETING: DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF AWGU LG COUNCIL CELEBRATES WITH PARTY FAITHFULS ON HIS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN OFFICE

Owelli/Ugbo/Amoli/Ogugu ward party meeting held today, Sat. March 20th had a great turn out of Party faithfuls and some stakeholders in attendance.

The Ward Chairman, Hon. Ugo Udeibe in his opening speech appreciated all who made efforts to attend the meeting amidst the tight schedules of today. He reiterated further that party is supreme and in his own capacity as the Ward Chair, he is resolute to always put in his best in ensuring that the ward under his watch continues to wax stronger and better.

The Deputy Chairman of Awgu Local Government Council, Hon. Lotachukwu Ogbonnia, Esq, who also used the meeting avenue to celebrate his one year anniversary in office thanked Gov. Ugwuanyi, Hon. Toby Okechukwu, Chief Whip ENHA; Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Eze-Ome-Ogo, Ward Party Excos and Members for all their love, prayers and supports to him in attaining this height of his political career. He promised not to let them or the party down.

Hon. Ikenna Okolie, Supervisor for works, Awgu Local Govt Council in his speech assured the ward that he will continue to protect their interest in the Local Government council and will also make efforts to always ensure that whatsoever that is due for them is been advocated for and brought home.

Comr. Okolike Michael, SSA on Media & Publicity to the Chief Whip ENHA who represented the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh due to her other schedule at the reception party in honour of Gov. Ugwuanyi's 57th Birthday party commended the Ward Party Chairman, Excos, Party faithfuls and most especially Hon. Lotachukwu Ogbonnia, Esq for finding it necessary to say "Thank you" to those that gave him mandate and have also been supporting him all along in the Local Government Council. And like Oliver Twist, he  charged him not to relent in efforts to do more for his ward in terms of service delivery, for that is a good legacy that he can be remembered with in future. Chief Whip despite her absence from the event at the ward meeting also sent a financial message across to the ward for their impress/refreshments.

Speech after speech from some several stakeholders present at the meeting centred on the need for all party faithfuls to make it a point of duty to be attending ward party meetings/functions at all times, and also support their leaders occupying any political position.

Party faithfuls sang and prayed for their leaders who have kept faith with them, and the meeting ended with lots of mouth watering refreshments for the members to enjoy themselves with.
