DEAR CONSTITUENTS, Here comes another celebration time for our mothers. A day to show love, gratitude and appreciation to all our wonderful mums all over the world. 

Motherhood is a blessing and also a gift to man kind. Mothers are unique beings, Our mothers are our pride, Mother's importance cannot be over emphasized, so celebrating motherhood is a symbolic ambiance towards appreciating our mothers for all the pains and sacrifices they passed through in bringing us to life.

Hence, as the Catholic faithfuls all over the world mark their Mothering Sunday today, April 18, we are all encouraged to join efforts in achieving the set goal for this year's celebration as specified thus;  


THEME: 

The Role of women in eliminating discrimination and gender based violence. 


In the spirit of the celebration, I "charge all the Mothers to take this as a clarion call to work towards eradicating girl child trafficking and also take responsibility for a healthy planet devoid of girl child social and domestic abuses," Chief Whip said.
