As the global world commemorates the International Youth Day Celebration today Thurs, August 12th, with a theme on "Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for human and planetary health", Chief Whip who is a grassroot and youth-friendly representative wishes the youths of her Constituency and the entire Youths of Enugu State a happy youth celebration. 

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), Member representing Awgu North Constituency in the hallowed chamber of the State House of Assembly enjoins the teeming youths of the State to shun violence during this period of their celebration and focus more on mentoring sessions and capacity building through innovative ideas that will in return better our society. Chief Whip stated these, as gathered by the Media team of JANE-CARESTV, during an interactive session with Hon. Chukwuma Nwogbo when he paid her a courtesy visit alongside with the State Exco Members of the Youth Wing of Jane Cares Support Group, in her office at the House of Assembly complex on Tues, August 10th, 2021.

Hon. Chukwuma Nwogbo who is the current SSA, on Youth Affairs to the Office of the Chief Whip assured the legislator during the interactive session that the Youths of the Constituency during their meetings have resolved to be partners in good governance at the grassroot for better service delivery to the people as their own contribution towards replicating the landmark of Gov. Ugwuanyi's records on good governance and peace legacy in the state. 

In her words, "His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a peace-loving cum a youth-friendly Governor, hence, it is my earnest wish and desire that the youths of this generation will emulate his attributes of humility and good virtues as aspiring leaders of tomorrow", Chief Whip said.    

Speaking further, Chief Whip opined that Gov. Ugwuanyi has put in place so many initiatives and platforms for the youths to strive upon via SME Entrepreneurial trainings for both Small and Medium Scale business ownership, Access to low interest rate credit facilities for Startups and Existing business owners, Free CAC business registrations offers, Enugu Tech Hub computer training classes, Innovative & Invention opportunities, Free Funded Scholarship programs, Studentpreneurship opportunities for students of Higher Institutions, AutoEase Skill acquisition training programs, Craftmanship/Artisan/Technician skill acquisition training centres and a whole lot of other empowerment programs that are readily made available by the State Government for the youths to hook up with. If the youths can atleast leverage on these available opportunities to be more productive, I'm sure Enugu State will grow to be a very big commercial city that will be competing with China in the nearest future, Chief Whip added. 

The youths should also remember that they are the future leaders of tomorrow, so it's very imperative that they begin now to show competency and the capacity to lead when such an opportunity is given to them, Chief Whip concluded.
