CHIEF WHIP CONCLUDES HER SIX DAY PVC GRASSROOT SENSITIZATION TOUR TODAY WITH OGBAKU, IHE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS VISITED

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), Member representing Awgu North Constituency in the hallowed chamber of the State House of Assembly in a bid to change the narrative at the grassroot on PVC registrations across the various communities in her Constituency flagged off a Voter Education/Sensitization exercise last Week Wed, July 21, 2021.

The Sensitization team which moved around all the various communities in the constituency, engaged constituents in their market places, community schools and a whole lot of other places of gatherings in order to guide them on the processes of the online registrations. 

Chief Whip who championed the sensitization exercise also made arrangements for ICT personnels to help in registering constituents with the bills on her. 

The enthusiastic constituents who falls within the eligible age bracket of voting leveraged on this free funded initiative by the Chief Whip to have their PVCs registered. 

With jubilations in all the communities visited, constituents appreciated the thoughtfulness of the Chief Whip in initiating this noble program on a free of charge basis. According to them, the procedures of undergoing the online registrations alongside with the cost implications involved at Business Centres were much of a discouraging factor to those of them at the rural areas.  

As Chief Whip concludes her six day Constituency tour today Wed, July 28 on PVC Sensitization, Ogbaku and Ihe Community Secondary schools were visited for the Voter Education exercise, where the students of the Senior classes within the eligible age bracket of voting were properly guided on the use of the INEC portal for their registrations, stressing the fact to them that acquisition of the PVCs would be also beneficial to them as a means of identification (ID Card) especially when opening an account with the bank and also for voting during the electioneering period.  

Enugu State is in the hands of God.
