Pedro Campaign train ahead of the forthcoming Enugu State Local Government poll, today Sat, Feb. 19, rounded off its campaign tour at Awgu South Constituency in grand style.  

The campaign rally before its kick-off today for the Day two exercise at Community School Awgu paid a solidarity visit to some revered stakeholders in Awgu South Constituency in the likes of HRH, Igwe Okosisi Nwobu (Igwe Ugwundu 11 of Ugwuleshi Kingdom), Chief Stephen Onuoha (Agunaeche Ibe 1) who is the Traditional Prime Minister of Awgu Egbeleli, Hon. Nelson Uduji (Ochudo 1), Former Member ENHA, Chief Francis Ositadimma Nwobi (Ezechinyelugo 1), CEO Fontana Oil and Hotels Ltd, to formally notify them of the forthcoming Local Government poll next week Wed, Feb. 23rd and also seek for their votes on the PDP candidates. 

Speaking at the campaign rally, the Administrators of Anike and Awgu Central Development Centres, Hon. Ndubuisi Nwankwo and Hon. Maximus Oha, DG Pedro Campaign Group and Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Hon. Ugonna Ibe, Former Deputy Chairman of Awgu Local Government, Prince Tom Onyeaga, CEO La Nueva Hotels Ltd, Chief Humphrey Ojinba, CEO Fontana Oil & Hotels Ltd, Chief Francis Nwobi, SAs to the Governor; Hon. Ikechukwu Azi and Hon. Anthony Nwankwo, Former House of Rep Member and Nigeria Ambassador to Russia, Hon. (Amb) J. C. Ikemefuna, Former Awgu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Joe Ani, Former Member ENHA, Rt. Hon. Nelson Uduji, Commissioner for Science & Technology, Hon. (Sir) Obi Carl Kamah, Member representing Awgu South Constituency at ENHA, Hon. Johnson Chukwuobasi, in their respective speeches told the mammoth crowd gathered at the rally to vote for all the PDP candidates at the poll come next week Wed, Feb. 23rd, 2022.

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency at the State House of Assembly in her speech told the party faithful present to take the message back home to their friends and loved ones that "PDP is the party to vote for at the forthcoming poll". According to the Chief Whip, she said it's not all about professing party membership by mere lips but about working hard to deliver the party in their various communities' polling booths. 

Presenting to the party faithful the party flag bearers for the Feb. 23rd poll, the Local Government PDP Party Chairman, Hon. Okey Udeh congratulated the Chairman, His Deputy and the Councillors once more for their emergence at the Primaries and advised them to continue to be true party men even after their victories at the poll. 

In his appreciation message, Hon. Pedro Nwankwo thanked Ndi Awgu for their mandates and assured them of his commitment to continuously replicate Gov. Ugwuanyi's good governance and legacies at all times. Hon. Pedro Nwankwo enjoined all to vote for PDP candidates in their various communities.
