CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH PAYS 2ND TERM TUITION FEES FOR OVER 100 INDIGENT STUDENTS

Jane Cares Scholarship Scheme, an initiative which is structured to help in improving better service delivery to the people at the grassroot, is a well thought-out welfare package funded by the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency at the State House of Assembly. The scheme which runs concurrently under three phases; "Adult Literacy Education Program", "Teens Educational Support Program" and "Youths Advancement Program", significantly kicked-off in the year 2019 after Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh was sworn into office. The scheme since then to a great extent have continued to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot in great magnitude, with traceable records of laudable success story in the lives and well-beings of its thousand beneficiaries. Constituents through this scheme have continued to remain grateful to the administration of the Chief Whip for flagging off these kind of people-oriented programs, the first of kind in the history of the constituency.  



In keeping tab with the academic calendar of the 2021/2022 academic session, Chief Whip who never misses out with routine payment of these students' fees at every given academic term, today Wednesday, Feb. 2nd paid a visit round the community secondary schools in her constituency through the Coordinator in-charge of the Teens Educational Support Program, Hon. Mrs Ify Dunu to offset the bills of 2nd Term Tuition, Exam, Sports and Development fees of over one hundred Indigent Students who are beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme. 


In their jubilations and excitements, the beneficiaries who could not contain their enthusiasm over the consistent commitment of the Chief Whip in relieving off their parents'  shoulders this financial burden, prayed for more grace upon the legislator to continue to soar higher in her political career. 

Responding, the Principals of the respective community secondary schools expressed faith in the administration of the Chief Whip and stated that this legacy and many more achievements recorded in her name within the constituency shall continue to stand a test of time for years to come.
