Dignify Womanhood Platform, an NGO that recognizes women and organizations who stop at nothing in ensuring that their leadership impacts are felt on humanity and their immediate environments, have just honoured the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, with "Woman of Dignity Award" for her giant political feat in public service.

During the NGO's "2021 International Young Women Conference/Award Presentation Event" held last year on Oct. 23rd, in Owerri, Imo State, for women of the South East region, some outstanding women who have done immensely well in their various fields of endeavours, especially in areas of service delivery to their respective communities were duly awarded.

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency at the State House of Assembly who was among the top awardees on their list was unavoidably not disposed to honour the event due to her tight schedules ranging from the State's preparations for the PDP National Convention held in Abuja and also the House of Assembly Members' Leadership MasterClass training held in Churchill University, Cambridge London, last year, the same period the event for conferment of the Award was also scheduled to hold. Hence, yesterday Sat, Feb. 5th, the Founder/Director of the Organization, Mr Ihemegbulem Gerald sent-in to Chief Whip office, the award plaque.

The full message reads thus....

"Dear Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency at the State House of Assembly,

This award recognizes and honours women who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of life endeavours. It recognizes recipients for their immense contributions to societal developments and commitment to women's and girl's empowerment in Africa, of which you have exceptionally driven same course in your field of endeavour, hence your nomination as one of our awardees.

As enclosed in an email we sent to your office last year, the primary goal of the conference was to bring together a broad diversity of leaders and emerging leaders who are concerned about women's and girl's needs.

And haven distinguished yourself in quality leadership, your nomination as one of the awardees received to our utmost astonishment the highest number of votes from the over 185 nominees that were relatively flagged up for the poll.

Our Team of Leaders, Invited Guests and other Awardees had longed with great enthusiasm towards meeting you in person at the event, as your presence would have served as an inspiration to many emerging women leaders but unfortunately, we received a reply to our mail via your office secretary that you were remarkably tied up with some busy schedules emanating from state assignments.

However, haven noted with much understanding the material time we're in at the moment with regards to the state electioneering processes, this wouldn't be an appropriate time to come to your state to create some inconveniences to your already set down schedules, thus, we have thought it important to send to your office, the Award plaque due to you.

Please accept our warm "Congratulation" once more for distinguishing yourself in your field of endeavour. We pray for more greater height to your political career, Ihemegbulem Gerald said.

Pictures taken at the event have also being duly attached for proper explanation of whom we are and what we stand for as an NGO, Mr Ihemegbulem Gerald stated.

Chief Whip on receiving the award, dedicated it to her constituents and inspiring leadership of Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration whom she said, their supports and faith in her necessitated every bit of the achievements she recorded on ground.
