Beloved Sisters Enugu State, a support Group for Gburugburu yesterday Tues, March 29, paid a solidarity visit to the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh at her Enugu office in the House of Assembly complex, Independence layout, Enugu.

In her opening speech during the visit, DG Beloved Sisters Group, Lady Ogbu Adaeze lauded the Chief Whip for making Enugu State women proud, judging from her effective and efficient representation and good service delivery within and outside Awgu LG. Lady Ogbu Adaeze informed the Chief Whip that Enugu Women across the Seventeen Local Government Areas are solidly behind her because she is a representative who shows concern for all in her acts of philanthropies irrespective of the person's constituency or local government area. Going by this affirmative statement which is an open truth, "we are therefore here to endorse you for continuity in 2023 and also assure you of our solidarity to your administration as well as Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration too". Please help us extend our message of solidarity to the Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi that we are solidly behind him and will also stand with his choice of candidate for 2023, Lady Ogbu Adaeze stated.

In their separate speeches, the Coordinators of Beloved Sisters Group from the Local Government chapters, Mrs Chukwu Maryrose (Awgu LG), Mrs Ede Ifeanyi Victoria (Udenu LG) and Mrs Eunice Ejim (Nkanu West LG) appreciated the Chief Whip for proving to Ndi Enugu through her giant political feat that Women can do well in politics when given the opportunity to showcase their capacity in leadership. They therefore assured the Chief Whip not to be shaken by the activities of some mischief makers, for they shall mobilize their fellow women to throw their weights on her during the campaign and poll period.

The Group after it's members' speeches presented a flower gift to the Chief Whip and also prayed for her and Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's administration.

In her words of appreciation, Chief Whip thanked the women for their endorsement, prayers and assurance of solidarity to Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration stating that this is the material period for Enugu women to intensify their prayers for their son and leader, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi so that God's power can subdue the handiwork of the enemies of the state.

Speaking further, Chief Whip appreciated the women for their unrelenting commitments in politics and encouraged them not to relent in their efforts and supports to Gov. Ugwuanyi's administration for he is the only Governor who has given women so much opportunities in government through his gender sensitive governance policy.

The Group had in attendance the following pioneer members across the LGAs; Mrs Attah Blessing (Igbo-Eze South), Mrs Blessing Chinedu (Nkanu East), Mrs Idoko Gloria (Igbo-Eze North), Mrs Mbadiwe Ogugua (Isi-Uzo), Lady Carol Asogwa (Nsukka), Mrs Egbo Christiana (Nkanu East), Mrs Eze Elizabeth (Uzo-Uwani), Mrs Odo Juliana (Igbo-Etiti), Esv.
