Ahead of the Primary Election of the People's Democratic Party, PDP scheduled for next month, the councillors of the five wards that make up Awgu North Constituency has paid Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane . C . Eneh a courtesy visit today, Tues April 19, in her office at the House of Assembly complex, Independence Layout, Enugu.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Chukwuemeka Francis Udeh, Ihe Councillor and Leader of Awgu legislative arm, onbehalf of his colleague thanked their representative at the Hallowed Chamber, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh for her supports to the Councillors during their election and swearing-in ceremony, and assured her that the five councillors in Awgu North Constituency are ever ready and willing to reciprocate same gesture of support to her re-election in 2023. We, the councillors from Awgu North Constituency are also here to present to you a meritorious award too, in recognition of your great achievements under two (2) years in office. We say congratulations to you ma, Hon. Chukwuemeka Udeh stated.    

Adding to the support and endorsement, Hon. Nosike Kennedy (Councillor of Ituku/Isuawa/Agbudu Ward), assured the Chief Whip that her achievements across the Constituency has made the campaign for her re-election very much easier, as the projects are visible for all to see. Stressing further, Hon. Nosike Kennedy urged the Chief Whip to go and starch her clothes ready for the inauguration ceremony because her continuity in 2023 is already a done deal. "Awgu North Councillors are solidly behind you, same with other constituents across the various wards.  Your name is a Household name, Hon. Nosike declared" 

In her words of appreciation, Chief Whip thanked the councillors for their endorsement, solidarity and assured them that her representation will continue to be a selfless one that will benefit all and also encourage equitable distribution of dividend of democracy. In all your endeavours, continue to remain focused in your primary duty as a Councillor, for that is what matters most, Chief Whip added.
