Jubilation in Awgu Local Government Council today Sunday, May 22nd, as the Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi) won the Party's ticket of the People's Democratic Party, PDP at the State House of Assembly Primary Election held at Sullivan Chime Hall, Awgu LG Secretariat. 

Chief Whip who is currently serving her first tenure in office was declared winner of the poll when she defeated the other aspirants with 15 Votes out of the total 15 Votes cast at the election.


Declaring Chief Whip the party's flag bearer for the Constituency ahead of the 2023 General Election, the INEC official who supervised the exercise congratulated Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh for her landslide victory and enjoined her to continue to flag the party's flag higher.
