Children are young and beautiful creatures; and with their innocent smiles and carefree spirits, they steal the hearts of many. Little wonder there is a day set aside to celebrate them. Children's Day, which is celebrated in Nigeria on May 27 annually, is dedicated to celebrating children all over the world.

In celebrating this year's Children's Day with a theme - *"Investing in our future means Investing in our children"*, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency has called for a collective effort and priority to be placed in investing on children for a future-assured society.

Chief Whip who made this call during a press briefing with the media team of JANE-CARESTV, yesterday thursday, May 26, also stated that children are special blessings from God and the way and manner "We train them at their early stages determines the way they would go when they grow up - Proverbs 26:6".

Aside the efforts of the Government, well-spirited individuals, corporate and religious bodies are encouraged to show concerted efforts in investing in human capital development via "catch them young scholarship programs", for a progressive society, Chief Whip added.

"Happy Children's Day Celebration" to all the children all over the world, Chief Whip wishes.
