CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH CONGRATULATES PETER MBAH FOR WINNING ENUGU GUBER PDP TICKET

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency congratulates Barr. Peter Ndubusi Mbah on his landslide victory at the PDP Primary Election held today Wednesday, May 25, at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Ogui rd, Enugu. 

Chief Whip who describes the emergence of Barr. Peter Mbah as a gift to Ndi Enugu, affirms that Barr. Mbah, an industrialist and former commissioner for finance in Enugu state, is a well known competent person based on his antecedents, thus, he is a capable hand to steer the affairs of this state in same peaceful way that Gov. Ugwuanyi has been doing since he assumed office in 2015 till date.   

In the PDP Primary Election held today, Barr. Mbah who is from Owoh in Nkanu East LG of Enugu state won the primary election with 790 votes out of the 807 votes cast by the delegates during the election to defeat his closest opponent, Hon. Edeoga, who scored just 9 votes. Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa scored 3 votes while Ike Ekweremadu and Chukwunta Gilbert got one vote each. 

 Also recalling that prior to the commencement of voting, eight governorship aspirants out of the 17 contestants stepped down for Barr. Mbah and asked delegates who wanted to vote for them to cast their votes for him. 

All these have added a new leaf and beauty to our democracy in the state, Chief Whip says.
