Jubilations as Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency together with some Awgu leaders and Stakeholders today Sunday, June 26, paid a thank you visit to the Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Government House, Enugu to appreciate him for finding their own capable of serving in the capacity of a Vice-Chancellor of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), amongst other giant political feat Awgu Local Government have also benefitted from, in this present administration.  



In his speech, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Prof. Aloysius. M. N. Okolie thanked Gov. Ugwuanyi for his appointment and assured him of his readiness and commitment towards achieving academic excellence in that citadel of learning. Speaking further, Professor Okolie promised the governor that he will leave the institution better than he met it by exploring all academic technicalities available in boosting the institution's reputation and academic excellence. 

Adding further, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh thanked Gov. Ugwuanyi for his efforts towards her re-election as the party's flag bearer for Awgu North Constituency in 2023 Election, and also lauded him (Gov. Ugwuanyi) for his love to Ndi which is envisaged in the appointment of an Awgu Man as the VC of ESUT, Renovation of Awgu General Hospital and School of Midwifery which were moribund for years, Construction of roads network, Siting of Enugu State University of Education at Ihe, amongst other infrastructural developments and appointments given to Awgu Sons and daughters in this present administration. Chief Whip thereafter assured Gov. Ugwuanyi that Ndi Awgu will not take those kind gestures for granted.

In his response, Gov. Ugwuanyi welcomed Ndi Awgu for their visit and assured them of his administration's continuous commitment towards development of the rural areas across the state. He (Gov. ugwuanyi) also enjoined Awgu leaders and Stakeholders to continue to be alive to their responsibilities in any capacity they are serving as a public office holder, stressing that leadership is quite tasking in area of service delivery to the people.
