CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH INAUGURATES CAMPAIGN TEAM, APPOINTS TECHNO CAMPAIGN DG

Following the guidelines of INEC on the start of the electioneering campaign for the 2023 Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly general election, which kicked-off officially last week wednesday, October 12, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency, today Thursday, October 20, inaugurated her campaign team at De Gladys Hotel, Fidelity Estate 2, G.R.A, Enugu. 

In his acceptance speech after the inauguration, The DG Agudo Campaign Team, Chief Anthony Onuigbo (Techno/Ezeadivu 1 of Ihe), thanked the Chief Whip for finding him worthy to serve in the capacity of her Campaign DG ahead of the 2023 Election for Awgu North Constituency State House of Assembly position. Chief Anthony Onuigbo expressed optimism that Agudo's victory for continuity in 2023 is an already ordained-walk-over exercise. He (Anthony Onuigbo) stated also that the legislator has contributed 99.9% to the success of the campaign in advance with her landmark achievements across the constituency.  

Speaking further, Chief Anthony Onuigbo charged his team members for team spirit and co-operation towards the realization of this noble goal - #AwguNorthProject2023. Chief Onuigbo onbehalf of his team assured the Chief Whip of a result-oriented delivery. 

In their respective speeches, Hon. (Sir). Obi Carl Kamah (Commissioner for science & Technology/DG Omeiheukwu Campaign Organization, Awgu LG Chapter), Mrs Joy Odike (Commissioner 3, Civil Service Commission), Hon. (Barr.) Lota Ogbonnia (D-Mayor, Awgu LG Council), Hon. Chukwujekwu Nebo (PDP Deputy Chairman, Awgu L.G.A), Hon. Chief (Sir) Emenike Ogedi Magnus (Agubandieze) (Chairman G17 Group Awgu LG Chapter/Deputy DG Agudo Campaign Team), Chief Ugonna Ogbonna (PDP State Organising Secretary/Secretary, Agudo Campaign Team), Mrs Gladys Chukwu (Member, Joint Account & Allocation Commission-JAAC), all lauded the Chief Whip over her exemplary style of leadership in always setting the pace for others to learn from and equally stated that Agudo's achievements within the Constituency have made the 2023 campaign for her re-election very much easier for the team.  

In his remark, Chief Cajethan Okoye (Onowu), (PDP Secretary, Awgu L.G.A) reiterated the party's support to the Chief Whip in ensuring that she emerges victorious with a land slide in the 2023 poll, because she has shown enough capacity and competence in office within this short period of her stay in office. 

In her speech, Chief Whip appreciated the team for their acceptance of making themselves readily available for the exercise and advised them to endeavour at all times, carry all communities along in their programs. Considering the fact that we also have other candidates from the other political parties contesting in the 2023 election too, let us try at all cost to shun smear campaign, to avoid unnecessarily hitting up the polity. Let the electorates choose for themselves who to vote for in the 2023 poll, for "what will be, must surely be", Chief Whip stated.

As we go about politicking and campaigning this season, let us also join hands too in playing active roles towards the campaigns of Barr. Peter Mbah (for Enugu State Guber), Engr. Osita Ngwu RG (for Enugu West Senatorial Zone), Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu Omeiheukwu (for Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency) ahead of the 2023 poll. Delivering all PDP flag bearers in the state is our collective responsibility, Chief Whip added.
