The ovation was high yesterday Saturday, October 15, as the Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (Agudo Nwanyi), Member representing Awgu North Constituency, stunned the PDP Monthly Meeting of Awgu Local Government Council, with Peter Mbah crested T-shirt costume, alongside with some of her supporters. 

Expressing his words of gratitude during his visit, Barr. Peter Mbah, the PDP Guber flag bearer for 2023, in company of his running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, his DG campaign organization, Chief Ikeje Asogwa (Idee Iheaka), and a host of other dignitaries, thanked Ndi Awgu for their usual acts of hospitality on every visits. He (Peter Mbah) assured Ndi Awgu that his administration will be an all-inclusive governance once he is voted into power in 2023. As earlier explained during the flag-off of my campaign manifesto, our key areas of focus when elected into power would be such that will bring Enugu State into further limelight through a well-thought program and a concerted effort on disruptive governance, Peter Mbah stated. 



In her words of welcome during her speech, Chief Whip commended Barr. Peter Mbah and his team for their unrelenting efforts towards ensuring that our party, PDP emerges victorious in the 2023 poll. I must confess that you've really made the campaign in the state very much easier with your outstanding performance and administrative blueprint during the official unveiling of your campaign manifesto last week Thursday, October 13, at your law chamber in Godfrey Okoye University. Ndi Enugu indeed, really marvelled at your level of brilliance and competence. The indepth analysis of your Seven point agenda is another selling point for the party that we are all very much happy about. This development has once again, helped to boost back the confidence of the people in the party, ahead of the 2023 poll, Chief Whip emphasized. 


Speaking further, Chief Whip reassured the duo of Barr. Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai, his running mate, that Awgu is PDP and will remain PDP during the 2023 poll. So, do not panic, for Awgu people will deliver their bloc votes to PDP during the poll, Chief Whip added.


During the cause of the meeting, Chief Whip and her supporters predominantly stole the show with their costume, amidst other display like chant of party songs that keep reverberating in the air, every now and then.
