2023: WE ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND YOU - AWGU NORTH MONARCHS, YOUTHS ASSURE OSITA NGWU, ANAYO ONWUEGBU, CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH

....Give Royal Blessings to the PDP candidates as symbol of their support and endorsement of their candidatures.

The "Youth wing of Agudo 2023 campaign team", after their successful inauguration today at Okukuizu Hall in Ihe, assured the Chief Whip of their maximum support and votes for reelection in the 2023 poll. The campaign DG, Chief Anthony Onuigbo (Ezeaduvu), who commended the youths over the way and manner they have been supporting Agudo's administration, stated that Chief Whip has written her name in gold through her verifiable record of people-oriented projects across the constituency, which makes she deserve our bloc votes for a reelection in 2023. The Campaign DG, also expressed confidence that the Chief Whip will do more for the constituency, especially the youth folks, if reelected in 2023. This is why it is imperative for all hands to be on deck in delivering Agudo mandate. 

Speaking during the familiarization visit to the Town Union Presidents and the Traditional Rulers of Mbanabo, at the royal palace of the traditional ruler of Owelli Community, HRH, Igwe Francis Okeke (Owelle 1 of Owelli), the Royal Father appreciated the Chief Whip for the positive developments her representation has been able to impact on the constituency within this her short stay in office.  

The Royal Father (Igwe Okeke) on behalf of his fellow monarchs within the constituency, told the Chief Whip and her fellow PDP flag bearers; Engr. Osita Ngwu (RG), PDP flag bearer for Senate Enugu West senatorial zone and Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu (Omeiheukwu), PDP flag bearer for Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency, aptly represented by his campaign DG of Awgu Chapter, Hon. (Sir) Obi Carl Kamah; Commissioner for Science & Tech, that "the people of Awgu North are solidly behind them in the 2023 election". 


The traditional rulers, therefore, gave them (Chief Whip, Omeiheukwu and RG) their royal blessings as symbol of their solidarity, support and endorsement of candidacy for 2023".  

Also adding his own voice, HRH, Igwe Martin Ibeziakor (Okaobuluzo 1 of Enuguoke Ihe) assured the PDP candidates that Awgu North is PDP, just as Awgu LG Council and the state in general is PDP. Therefore, our votes belongs to PDP in 2023. 

Describing the traditional rulers as the representatives of the people at the grassroots, the DG, Agudo Campaign Team, Chief Anthony Onuigbo (Ezeaduvu), stated that the office of the traditional rulers is synonymous to the fourth tier of government, thus, if the government at the grassroot says they are for PDP, then we can be rest assured that the support of the locals is equally a done deal. "So, let us join hands together to deliver 100% votes to Agudo, Peter Mbah, Anayo Onwuegbu and Osita Ngwu across our respective polling units within the constituency, come 2023", Chief Onuigbo pleaded. 

Commending the royal fathers for their roles in facilitating the delivery of the dividend of democracy to the people at the grassroot level, the Executive Chairman of Awgu LG Council, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, enjoined the monarchs not to relent in their concerted efforts towards maintaining a good cordial relationship and partnership with the government of the day, at all times. 

According to Engr. Chris Enebe and Chief Cajethan Okoye during their remark, "There is no community that is left out in the projects attracted by the Chief Whip, this is first of its kind in the history of the constituency, so let's not change our winning team in 2023", PDP remains the code.   

The traditional rulers who were present includes; HRH Igwe Francis Okeke (Owelle 1 of Owelli) alongside with his queen; Lolo Adesua Okeke, HRH S. I. Okafor (Agudo 1 of Akudu); Enugueze of Ituku, HRH Igwe M. O. Egbo (Ezeaku 1 of Ifite Ogbaku), HRH Igwe M. A. O. Ibeziakor (Igwe Enuguoke Ihe), HRH Desmond Chukwu (Chinyereze 1 of Eziama kingdom), HRH Igwe M. O. Onuorah (Igwe ndi Agbogugu), HRH Igwe E.C (Igwe ndi Agbudu), HRH J.O Okeke (Ngene 1 of Ngene Ugbo); Secretary of Awgu traditional rulers council, HRH Igwe Sunday Orji (Ezeugu 1of Eze Obom 11 Agbogugu); Deputy Chairman of Awgu traditional rulers council.
