2023: CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH, ENUGU WEST STAKEHOLDERS, OTHERS WELCOME PETER MBAH TO THE ZONE, ASSURE HIM OF 100% VOTE, SUPPORT TO HIS ADMINISTRATION

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency/PDP candidate for 2023, alongside with the leaders and stakeholders of Enugu West senatorial zone on Sunday, January 22nd, welcomed the PDP Governorship candidate of the state, Dr. Peter Mbah to the zone. 

The Enugu West stakeholder's meeting tagged "Enugu West Stakeholder's Meeting: Succeeding Together", which was held in Umuabi, Udi Local Government Area had in attendance who is who in Enugu West Senatorial Zone.  

Welcoming Dr. Peter Mbah, Enugu West leaders and Stakeholders to the local government during the meeting, the convener of the meeting, Barr. Victor Udeh explained that the essence of the event was to further strengthen peace and unity in the zone, create enabling environment for all the PDP candidates in the state to have landslide victories at the poll. 

In their separate speeches during the meeting, the council chairman of Udi Local Government Area, Hon. Nze Phil Okoh (Phino Tech), Deputy Director-General (DG) of Enugu West PDP Campaign Organization, Hon. Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi, PDP Enugu West senatorial candidate, Engr. Osita Ngwu, PDP candidate for Aninri/Awgu/Oji-River Federal Constituency, Chief Anayo Onwuegbu (Omeiheukwu) and his counterpart in Udi/Ezeagu constituency, Dr. Festus Uzor, among others commended the initiative as  a right step in the right direction.  They called on all the leaders and stakeholders in the zone to embrace true spirit of forgiveness by joining hands together to deliver all the PDP candidates in the state during the poll. The speakers also encouraged the stakeholders to help sensitize their people to go get their PVCs in this ongoing INEC PVC distribution exercise across the wards. 

Also adding their voice, an elder statesman in the zone, Senator Hyde Onuaguluchi, Enugu State PDP Secretary, Hon. Cletus Akalusi, Deputy Minority leader of the HoR, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, among others, commended the stakeholders for coming out enmass and also speaking with one voice. They assured the PDP Governorship candidate, Dr. Peter Mbah that the zone won't loose any vote to opposition parties during the poll. 

In her speech, the Deputy Governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Mrs Cecilia Ezeilo pointed out that the best way of succeeding is working together as one. She called on the candidates to ensure all-inclusive governance once elected into office. 


In his response, Dr. Peter Mbah thanked the leaders and Stakeholders of Enugu West Senatorial Zone for their warm welcome and hospitality. He (Dr. Peter Mbah) thumbed-up to the zone for embracing peace and unity through dialogue and reconciliation. Thus, he (Dr. Mbah) charged them to take that same spirit of oneness in delivering the party in the region during the poll.  

Responding to some of their questions, Dr. Peter Mbah assured the people of Enugu West that all their concerns were captured in his manifesto. Once elected, my administration shall not waste any time in implementing these policies, Dr. Peter Mbah assured the zone. 

Highlighting his administration's plans towards tackling youth unemployment, insecurity, injustice, crude farming, among others, Dr. Peter Mbah promised to digitilize the economy, increase the state GDP, train and engage the youths on ICT and other skill acquisition programs, industrialize the state, strengthen community policing, advance agriculture, among others.  

To enable us emerge victoriously during the poll, endeavour to take the campaign to the grassroots and most importantly, encourage your people to go for their PVC collections this period, Dr. Mbah implored the zone.

Hyde Onuaguluchi, Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi, KGB Oguakwa, Incoming senator Osita Ngwu (RG), Incoming HoR Member in Udi/Ezeagu Federal constituency, Dr. Fesus Uzor, Council Chairmen and their Deputies, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and her counterparts in the State House of Assembly/PDP candidates, PDP Enugu State Excos in the zone, Zonal and Local  Government PDP Chairmen and their Deputies, Enugu West Commissioners, political appointees, Enugu West Stakeholders, PDP Party faithful, among others.
