2023 ENUGU WEST PDP CAMPAIGN: MASSIVE TURN OUT AS PEOPLE OF ITUKU, ISUAWA, AGBUDU, IHE COMMUNITIES, SAVE AWGU GROUP ENDORSE, CELEBRATE CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH, PLEDGE BLOC VOTES FOR ALL PDP CANDIDATES IN THE STATE

In a colourful reception which witnessed a massive turn out and endorsement of Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the PDP candidates in the state, the jubilant people of Mbanabo North yesterday wednesday, February 8th, reiterated their stand in the acceptability of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidates and their leadership in the constituency. The jubilant crowd took turn to sing songs of solidarity while welcoming the PDP leaders, stakeholders and candidates to their wards.
Showing their solidarity for PDP leadership in Awgu L.G.A, Emperor Baywood Ibe "Save Awgu" support group endorsed Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the other PDP candidates in the state.
Speaking onbehalf of the group at Ituku campaign ground, Prof. Emeka Igwe assured the PDP candidates that their support group structure is still very intact and formidable across Awgu North Constituency, hence, they have taken a stand to vote massively for all the PDP candidates in the state during the February 25th and March 11th poll.
Welcoming the Enugu West PDP Campaign Train and their candidates to Ituku/Isuawa/Agbudu ward, the PDP ward chairman and Councillor, Hon. ThankGod Agu and Hon. Kennedy Nosike respectively, in their separate speeches appreciated the campaign train for coming to interface with their people at this material time. The speakers expressed optimism that the engagement will go a long in strengthening back the long-aged relationship the ward has always enjoyed with the PDP leadership in the state. The speakers assured the PDP candidates that plans were already ongoing at the grassroot to sensitize and mobilize bloc votes for the party during the poll.
Also speaking at the campaign ground in Ituku/Isuawa/Agbudu ward, Hon. Romanus Igwe, Chief Lawrence Ogbuanu, Deputy DG PDP Awgu North State Constituency Campaign Team, Chief (Sir) Magnus Emenike Ogedi (Agubandieze), Member Joint Account and Allocation Commission, Mrs Gladys Chukwu, PDP Deputy Chairman Awgu LG, Hon. Chukwujekwu Nebo, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Ugonna Ibeh, PDP Chairman Awgu LG, Hon. Nathan Okey Udeh, in their separate speeches lauded the giant political feat of Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh across the constituency within this short period of stay in office. The speakers also explained to the electorates that a vote for the PDP candidates in the state is a vote for more developmental projects in the constituency, hence, everyone should go to the poll to do the needful in ensuring that PDP emerges victoriously.
In Ihe ward, the reception galore was also the same as the PDP ward chairman, Hon. Vincent Onuh and the Councillor/Leader of Awgu Legislative Arm, Hon. Francis Chukwuemeka Udeh, in their welcome speeches lauded the Chief Whip for writing her name in gold in the hearts of the constituents with her good book of record on community projects across the constituency.
Also lending their voices in Ihe ward, the PDP Secretary of Awgu LG, Chief Cajethan Okoye (Onowu), Former Perm Sec, Comrade Anthony Udeh, Serving and Former Administrator of Mbanabo North Development Centre, Hon. Egbo Solomon and Engr. Chris Enebe, Former PDP Chairman Awgu LG, Hon. Emeka Udeh, Leader of Ada Ihe Peace Movement, Dr. Mrs Virginia Udeh, Chief Ugochukwu Udeh, Chief Godwin Okoro, Former Enugu State Commissioner, Hon. Ogbuagu Anikwe, Director-General (DG) PDP Awgu North State Constituency Campaign Team, Chief Anthony Onuigbo, PDP Chairman of Awgu LG, Hon. Nathan Okey Udeh, all in their separate speeches also commended the Chief Whip for her numerous achievements on ground and attested to the fact that such record remains the first of its kind since the history of the constituency.
Expressing confidence that People's Democratic Party (PDP) will sweep the poll in Awgu North Constituency, the speakers explained that 98% of the campaign had been made easier with the record of people-oriented achievements that Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh was able to put on ground, hence the remaining 2% is just for this campaign that we are doing today.
Some of the numerous achievements of the Chief Whip as listed out on the campaign ground includes but not limited to the following; Fourteen school building/renovation project attracted, Deployment of set of chairs and tables to Awgu North Schools, Rebranding and reshuffling of Mbanabo North security architecture, Donation of Sienna Vehicle to Mbanabo North Security Team for patrols and surveillance, Distribution of learning aids to pupils in Awgu North schools, Empowerment of constituents (motorcycle, sewing machine, wheelchair, etc), Facilitation of employment of constituents into state jobs, Sponsorship of Adult literacy education program, Annual Scholarship and Bursary Awards to over one hundred indigent students, Payment of Junior WAEC fees of over one hundred indigent students, Leading roles played in the quick passage of some bills and motions that were of great benefits to the constituency, Annual charity programs for the youths and widows, Appointment of over seventy aides to her office, among others.
The speakers appealled to the electorates to come out enmass on the day of election to vote massively for Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the other PDP candidates in the state.
Earlier before the kick-off of the event, Enugu West PDP Campaign Train alongside with the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Council, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, made a stop over at the royal palace of the traditional ruler of Ituku community, HRH Igwe Cletus Owoh, as well as the royal palace of the traditional ruler of Enuguoke Ihe community, HRH Igwe M. A. O. Ibeziakor (Okaobuluzo 1), for a courtesy call and also seek for their royal blessings too.
Endorsing the candidature of Dr. Peter Mbah/Ossai as the most outstanding and competent hands that Ndi Enugu yearns for, the royal fathers also extended same endorsement to all the PDP candidates in the zone. The monarchs poured out their royal blessings on the candidates and prayed for their landslide victories during the Feb. 25th and March 11th poll.
Addressing constituents across the wards, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency/PDP candidate for 2023, appreciated the people of the wards for their symbolic home coming reception and reassured them that their mandate, supports and team spirit since 2019 till date would never be taken for granted. It was your mandate that necessitated my going to the Enugu state House of Assembly and with God on our side, i did not let you down. In our constituency, we have witnessed some milestones of achievements through the inspiring leadership of Gov. Ugwuanyi-led administration. Whatever I was able to achieve within this short period was made possible with your prayers, support and team work. Please, let's do this again in this 2023. Vote for; Dr. Peter Mbah/Ossai for Governor/Deputy Governor of Enugu State; Engr. Osita Ngwu for Senate, Enugu West senatorial zone; Chief Anayo Onwuegbu for HoR, Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency and finally myself for Enugu State House of Assembly, Chief Whip urged constituents.
Let us practically express our love, support and solidarity for our party through the ballot, so that we can continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy in the state, zone and constituency in particular, Chief Whip added.
In his speech, the PDP candidate for House of Representative, Awgu/Aninri/Oji-River Federal Constituency, Chief Anayo Onwuegbu (Omeiheukwu) promised the people of Mbanabo North that he will consolidate on the gains on ground in attracting more projects to Awgu North Constituency in particular and Greater Awgu in general, if elected into office. He (Omeiheukwu) urged the people of Mbanabo North to vote for him and Engr. Osita Ngwu during the February 25th poll, then Dr. Peter Mbah and Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh during the March 11th poll.
Responding to the speeches, the PDP candidate for senate, Enugu West senatorial district, Engr. Osita Ngwu (RG) enjoined the people of Mbanabo North to have confidence in him as he will partner with all the elected leaders in the state in ensuring that all potentials, human and natural resources are properly harnessed for the benefit of everyone in the zone, in line with the vision and agenda of Dr. Peter Mbah's Manifesto. No constituency shall be left behind in our representation and service delivery. Go home and spread the message that PDP is the party to vote for during the poll, Engr. Osita Ngwu charged the people.

Highlight of the program featured presentation of gifts to the Chief Whip by the constituents. The widows while presenting their gifts to the Chief Whip across the wards, in appreciation for all that she had been doing for them, prayed to God to grant her and all the other PDP candidates in the state landslide victories during the poll.
