2023: JUBILATION, ENDORSEMENTS, ROUSING RECEPTIONS FOR CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH, PDP CANDIDATES AS ENUGU WEST CAMPAIGN TRAIN VISITS MBANABO COMMUNITIES

There were jubilation, massive turn out, endorsements and rousing receptions for Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency/PDP candidate for 2023 and other PDP candidates in the state on Thursday February 16, when the Enugu West PDP Campaign Train visited Agbogugu, Ogbaku, Owelli/Ogugu/Ugbo/Amoli wards in Awgu North Constituency, Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State for election campaign ahead of the forthcoming general election.


At Agbogugu community where the campaign train first visited, the jubilant people of the ward who came out in their numbers at their central school field to welcome the campaign train, Engr. Osita Ngwu, Chief Anayo Onwuegbu, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the Enugu West stakeholders to their community, expressed their utmost joy, solidarity and support for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) leadership in the state.  

The people celebrated their legislator and PDP candidate, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh for her representation's unprecedented empowerment, school building project attracted, scholarship scheme, adult education program and other rural development initiatives which she has recorded in her name within this short period of her stay in office. The jubilant people said their community had benefitted immensely from her giant political feat but like Oliver Twist, they long for more in her second tenure. 

Declaring their resolve that the people of Agbogugu will vote massively for Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the other PDP candidates in the state, the PDP Ward Chairman, Chief Egbo Matthias, a stakeholder from the community, Chief Wilfred Emeka Udeh (Udemeks), Former Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government/Current Board Member of the Enugu State Housing Cooperation, Hon. Joseph Uche Okolo, Chief Engr. Johnson Onuh (Ichie Ezeakonobi), Former Legislative Aide to Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, Hon. Sir Ralph Onovo, Former Enugu State PDP Organising Secretary/Current State Assistant Organising Secretary who doubles also as the secretary of PDP Awgu North State Constituency Campaign Team, Hon. Henry Ugonna Ogbonna, Former Member ENHA/PDP National Youth Leader, Rt. Hon. SKE Udeh-Okoye, in their separate speeches expressed confidence that PDP will emerge victoriously in Agbogugu during the Feb. 25th and March 11th poll.





Thanking the people of Agbogugu community for their rousing receptions and resolve to vote massively for all the PDP candidates in the state, the PDP Chairman of Awgu Local Government, Hon. Nathan Okey Udeh (Mgbeokweluike) and the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo (Eze Ome-ogo) assured the people that their community will not be left behind during the distribution of the dividend of democracy in the state, if all the PDP candidates are elected into office in the forthcoming general election. 


The story was the same in Ogbaku ward where the campaign train, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the other PDP candidates in the state were cheerfully received by the jubilant people of the community led by the former council boss of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Stanley Okeke (Atu Ogbaku). 

On the campaign ground at Central school Ogbaku, the PDP ward chairman, Hon. Mike Okonkwo, ward  councillor, Hon. Friday Ejike Okafor, President General of Ibite Autonomous Community, Chief Okoye Isaiah, Former ward councillor, Hon. Okeke Odinaka (Mmiri), Legal Adviser of our Party in Awgu, Barr. Gabriel Onovo, Former Awgu local government Boss, Hon. Stanley Okeke (Atu Ogbaku), in their separate speeches welcomed the campaign train and all the PDP candidates in the state to their community. 




The speakers commended the Chief Whip for her giant political feat in the ward, endorsed her candidature, declared their support for her reelection and also pledged their support to vote for her and all the other PDP candidates in the state during the forthcoming general election. 

In Owelli/Ogugu/Ugbo/Amoli ward, the elated crowd was massive as they cheered the Chief Whip and expressed their support and endorsement for her candidature as well as all the other PDP candidates in the state.  



In drumming support for PDP and all its candidates, Former supervisor for works and current supervisor for Agriculture in Awgu local government council, Hon. Ikenna Okolie,  Deputy Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Lota Ogbonnia, Chief Barr.





Eze. O. Eze, Formal PDP Zonal Woman leader, Mrs Maryrose Chukwu, Deputy Minority leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu, among others, in their separate speeches, all declared their total support for all the PDP candidates in the state and pledged their votes for Engr. Osita Ngwu and Chief Anayo Onwuegbu during the Feb. 25th poll and also the duo of Barr. Peter Mbah and Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh during the March 11th poll, respectively. 


Earlier in the day, the campaign train observed a brief stop over at the royal palace of the traditional ruler of Akanwu-Agbogugu community, HRH Igwe Matthias. O. Onuorah (Ezedioramma 1 of Akanwu kingdom) for a courtesy visit. The wife of the royal father, Lolo Nkeiru Onuorah was also there to make the visit very colourful. 


Welcoming Chief Whip, the Campaign Train and all the other PDP candidates in the state to his Palace, the royal father on behalf of the community endorsed the candidature of Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh and all the other PDP candidates in the state, gave them his royal blessing and reassured them of his community's bloc votes and landslide victories at the poll. 

Responding to their speeches across the wards, the PDP candidate for Senate, Enugu West senatorial district, Engr. Osita Ngwu (RG), onbehalf of the other PDP candidates in the state, expressed delight at the rousing receptions given to them by the communities and thanked them for their doggedness, overwhelming support and prayers for the people's democratic party (PDP) to emerge victoriously during the poll. Speaking further, Engr. Ngwu urged them to go to their various polling units on the day of election to deliver all the PDP candidates in the state. 

Highlights of the event featured cultural music and presentation of gifts by the people of Mbanabo to Engr. Osita Ngwu, Chief Anayo Onwuegbu, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Hon. Pedro Okwudili Nwankwo, Hon. Nathan Okey Udeh, among others during the visit.  





The people of Mbanabo reiterated their commitments to support and vote for all the PDP candidates in the state during the general election.
