CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH SENDS HAPPY VALENTINE WISHES TO THE YOUTHS, CHARGES THEM TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS

Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency has advised the masses zone, especially the youth constituency to be good ambassadors of their families, constituency, state and the society at large. She also implored the youths to be their brother's keeper by being tolerant, giving alms to the poor and needy, accommodating each other's differences and also showing true love to one another, for such virtues are the right act of altruistic love, as taught us by the scripture. 

Chief Whip gave the above advice during an interactive media chat with members of JANE-CARESTV media crew, her aide on Youths Affairs, Comr. Chukwuma Nwogbo and the youths coordinator, Awgu North Grassroot Movement, Comr. Felix Ugochukwu Okonkwo, on Monday, February 13th, 2023. 

The message reads thus;

"Our youths, the future hope of our constituency, State and Nation", I beseech you all to imbibe true attributes of agape love as taught us by our Lord Jesus Christ. It is so disheartening to note that majority of our youths who ought to be good ambassadors of christ, as well as agents of change for a better tomorrow have invariably drifted away from the expectations needed of them and resorted to downward trend. Our society bleeds and in dire need of a paradigm shift to change this narrative. In changing this narrative, leaders of the Youth Constituency and other emerging youth leaders in the masses zone have a lot of role to play through mentorship programs and tutelage in re-orientating, building and rejuvenating the youths, especially the younger generation. 

Peace and progress can be better driven and achieved through tolerance, accommodation of one another's interest and individual differences, among others. The task of rewriting this story therefore rests upon the shoulders of the leaders of the youth constituency, through championing of a cause that is effectively geared towards achieving a new and better society that we all can be very proud of tomorrow. 

Wishing her constituents a happy valentine celebration, Chief Whip also implored the youths to celebrate this year's season of love without any form of rancor, violence or breakdown of laws and order. She advised that love should lead.  

Remember to show love to the people around you. The story of St. Valentine teaches us that valentine celebration is all about sharing and giving of alms to the poor and the needy. Let us be good ambassadors and replica of St. Valentine, Chief Whip advised.
