In her resolve and commitment to responsive governance, people-oriented service delivery, effective and efficient representation to constituents, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency have continued to keep faith with payment of tuition fees of indigent students in her constituency.

In the phase of the ongoing 2022/2023 academic session, Chief Whip ENHA, Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Member representing Awgu North Constituency today wednesday, March 15, through her team visited round the secondary schools in her constituency for the payment of the second term tuition, sports, examination and development fees of over one hundred indigent students who are beneficiaries of her scholarship scheme.

Jane Cares Scholarship Scheme was introduced in 2019 by Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, on assumption of office. The beneficiaries who were selected across all the secondary schools in Awgu North Constituency started benefiting from the scheme from their JSS1 class till this their present class (SSS 1). The indigent students were drawn across the following secondary schools; Community Sec. Sch Ituku, Girls High sch Agbogugu, Community Sec. Sch Ihe, Community Sec. Sch Agbudu, Community Sec. Sch Amabor-Owelli, Community Sec. Sch Ugbo-Okpala, Community Sec. Sch Ngene-Ugbo, Comprehensive High Sch Ogugu, Community Sec. Sch Ogbaku, Government Technical College Amoli, Community Sec. Sch Isuawa and Girls High Sch Owelli.

It is also worthy of note that these beneficiaries during their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), otherwise called Junior WAEC, last year 2022, had their registration fees paid by Chief Whip through the office of the Chief Registrar, Examination Development Centre (EDC), Mr Emma Obiora Ezugorie (JP).

This is in line with Chief Whip's determination to see that these children complete their secondary school education without any reason for dropping out of school due to financial constraints.

The jubilant students who expressed joy and happiness for the termly support they had being enjoying under the Chief Whip's Scholarship Scheme since their JSS1 class till this their present SS1 class, prayed to God to continue to enlarge her coast abundantly.

Also in their separate remarks, the Principals of the respective schools lauded the Chief Whip for her heart of benevolence, consistency of the program as well as the financial relief she has been able to save the parents of the beneficiaries from. In their goodwill messages, they prayed for the Chief Whip to continue to soar higher in her political career.
