CHIEF WHIP ENHA, ENEH SENDS NEW MONTH MESSAGE TO CONSTITUENTS, URGE ALL TO EMBRACE PEACE AS THE STATE PREPARES FOR TRANSITION OF POWER ON MAY 29

It is the Lord's doing that we're alive today to witness this Month of May 2023. 

Everyone will agree with me that past months were quite challenging with election matters and some ripple effects emanating from post-election crisis across the country. But we are grateful to God Almighty that the best part of our humanity prevailed in all those trying times and today, we are still waxing very much stronger as one big and united family in the state.

As we count our blessings and name them one-by-one, there calls for reasons to be thankful to God Almighty for all he has been doing for us and also what he will still do for us this Month of May and beyond. 

Appreciating you all for your individual's and collective efforts in keeping faith with this present government of Gov. Ugwuanyi-led administration, I wish to urge us all to continue to keep hope alive in extending same unalloyed support, solidarity and prayers to the incoming administration of Dr. Peter Mbah, which shall kick-off this month after May 29 swearing-in.  

Taking into cognizance the importance and peculiarity of this month with regards to transition of government in the state, I implore us, as constituents, to shun violence and embrace peace, be law-abiding and most importantly, support Dr. Peter Mbah in putting our home state into positive limelight; one we all can always look back at and be very proud of someday. 

Let us eschew personal interest, religious and tribal bigotry, among others and work towards a peaceful coexistence, tolerance, team work and solidarity, so that together as one, we will make our home state great again. YES!! We can. Enugu State must be great again, because our long awaited tomorrow is finally here. This is a clarion call and also an obligation we owe ourselves and our dear state in general. 

Happy New Month of Amazing Grace and all round blessings.
