8TH ASSEMBLY: BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS ON PICS, VIDEO AT JANE ENEH'S INAUGURATION, RECEPTION

As earlier reported by JANE-CARESTV, During the inauguration of the Members-Elect for the 8th Assembly on Tuesday, June 13, Member representing Udi North State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uche Ugwu of Udi North Constituency was elected the speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly upon his nomination by Iloabuchi Aniagu (Nkanu West Constituency) and seconded by Anthony Chukwudi Nwankwo (Awgu South Constituency).

For the position of Deputy Speaker, Prince Ezenta Ezeani of Igboetiti West Constituency was declared the winner after his nomination by Mrs Jane Eneh of Awgu North Constituency and seconded by Okey Mba from Nkanu East constituency. 

The Clerk of the House, Dr. Emma Udaya administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected Speaker of the 8th Assembly. 

After the inauguration ceremony, Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh conducted a reception in grand style for her constituents at Toscana Hotels Ltd, Independence layout, Enugu.
