Dear Constituents, 

With profound gratitude to God, our tenure in the 7th Assembly has come to an end. On behalf of myself and my family, I want to thank you all for the opportunity to serve as your representative in the hallowed chamber of the Enugu State House of Assembly.

Today is remarkable and symbolic in the history of our constituency, Local Government and the state in general. On the 10th of June 2019, I was inaugurated as a legislator in the 7th Assembly. A great opportunity i owe you all words of gratitude for. 

As your representative, it is imperative to heartily appreciate each and everyone of you most passionately, for all the unflinching support, team work, solidarity and prayers on the journey so far. Our collective efforts all along have really taken our dear constituency to some level of developments than it was before I assumed office. Cetéris paribus, all things being equal, our colossal team play and togetherness greatly yielded positive result. "My WIN is a WIN-WIN for all of us and our dear constituency in general".

It is my earnest prayer and desire that we collectively do this again in the coming 8th Assembly, for us to achieve more from the new administration under Gov. Peter Mbah. My dream is for our constituency to continue to lead while others follow.

While thanking you for your renewed mandate to serve again in the 8th Assembly, I want to assure you that I will not disappoint you or take for granted this call to serve humanity.   

In a most special way, I wish to also thank and commend our immediate past amiable and peace-loving Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi CON for his support and inspiring leadership. All I was able to achieve for the constituency was made possible through him. Without any fear of contradiction, I make bold to say that GBURUS love for the people remains unquantifiable. It is on record that Gov. Ugwuanyi's responsive governance in areas of peace & security, school building projects through ENSUBEB, Youths empowerment programs, Teachers' recruitment Initiative, inclusive governance policy, workers' welfare packages, improved healthcare facilities, among others, our constituency and local government benefitted immensely from it. Amidst the challenges confronting the State, Gov. Ugwuanyi stood out as a HERO. He shall continue to be celebrated in the good book of enugu State political history in years to come.  

As Gov. Mbah-led administration reels out its mantra on disruptive innovation as contained in his manifesto, let's keep hope alive that accelerated development in the state is on pipeline. I urge us to extend our support and prayers to Gov. Mbah's administration, for there are so many developmental projects in stock for us to benefit as a people and constituency as well. The vision of "Tomorrow is here" is a pathway to greatness that we all envisioned for the state.

To my colleagues in the 7th Assembly, Congratulations to us all, for being alive as one big and united family to witness the end of our tenure. I felicitate with all of us, most especially Mr Speaker and my fellow principal officers in the house, for God's mercy, love and grace upon us throughout the four years tenure (2019-2023). To the glory of God, our tenure has ended in praise. More grace upon us in our respective political careers. Let's continue to be best of friends even outside office.


To the leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, local government and ward level, thank you all for believing in me to serve through the umbrella of the party.

To my esteem fans and supporters, thank you all for your love, support, dedication, sacrifice and commitment to the success of my second tenure. Please continue to remain blessed now and always.

Indubitably true, "One with God is always majority". 

Long live Awgu North Constituency!

Long live Awgu Local Government Council!!

Long live Enugu State!!!
