Jubilation as Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State approved the reconstitution of the Joint Accounts Allocation Committee (JAAC) in the state, yesterday wednesday, July 5.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Comrade Anthony Udeh was announced chairman of the committee.

Following the public service announcement published on the internet, the good people of Awgu Local Government Council expressed joy at the development, saying the appointment of an Awgu Man as chairman of the committee is a good step in the right direction, as the local government and indeed Greater Awgu seemed to be marginalised in the recent sharing of juicy positions in the state. But this development has raised our hopes on inclusive governance in the Gov. Mbah-led administration, commentaries seen across the social media space suggests.

Lauding the development, The Deputy Minority leader ENHA and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwe Eneh heartily felicitates with the illustrious son of Ihe Shikeaguma in Awgu North Constituency, Chief Comrade Anthony Udeh (Dike N'ihe) on his appointment and prays for more grace and wisdom upon him to excel in his new position and assignment.

The Deputy Minority Leader commends Gov. Peter Mbah for finding an Awgu son worthy of the position and assure him of the continuous support of Ndi Awgu in achieving his set down goals on disruptive innovation in the state. "We are very much optimistic that with the wealth of experience garnered by Chief Comrade Anthony Udeh, a seasoned administrator, a renowned technocrat, a revered labour union leader and former Permanent Secretary, optimal performance and good result delivery are guaranteed", Deputy Minority leader added.

As obtained by JANE-CARESTV, the appointment of Comrade Anthony Udeh alongside with the other members of the reconstituted committee takes immediate effect.
