AUGUST MEETING FLAG-OFF: DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER ENHA, ENEH HAILS ENUGU WOMEN FOR A SUCCESSFUL OUTING

Enugu Women Prayer Network on wednesday, August 9, gathered at Michael Okpara Square, Independence layout Enugu, for their monthly prayer/flag-off of 2023 annual meeting.
Speaking at the event, the wife of the governor, Mrs Nkechinyere Mbah, represented by the Director of Administration, Enugu State Ministry of Gender Affairs, Dr. Uzoamaka Okenwa advised the women on the need to train their children/wards to shun crime for a peaceful and better society.
On a health talk, a consultant paediatrician, Dr. Chioma Odimegwu advised the women to place priority in exclusive breastfeeding because of its nutritional and health benefits.
Praying at the ceremony, Evangelist Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi (Former Chairman, Post Primary School Management Board - PPSMB) prayed for the success of the 2023 August meeting. She equally prayed for peace and security in the state.
Highlight of the event include distribution of gifts (wrappers and salt) to women, among others.
Congratulating the women for a successful flag-off ceremony, Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwe Eneh, assured the women that God has a lot of blessing in stock for the women in this administration, stating that their support and prayers are most needed to make this administration deliver effectively and efficiently on its promises to the people of the state.
Mrs Eneh, in a message through Mrs Gladys Chukwu, urged Agudo women group and women of Awgu North constituency to continue to support Mbah-led administration for accelerated development in the state.
In attendance to the event were Chairpersons of the various local government councils, Agudo women, among others.
