The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwe Eneh has commiserated with the chairman of the Owelli Youth Movement, Chief Igwe .U. Osondu (Eze sina chi, Mma-Ana-egbu-na igwe 1 of Awono-Owelli), over the death of his mother.

In her condolence message to the family during the funeral ceremony of Late Mrs Igwe Angelina (Akwete Nwanyi) on Friday, September 29, in her country home Awono-Owelli, in Awgu local government area of Enugu State, the deputy minority leader described the death of Akwete Nwanyi as a huge loss to the family and the entire community in general.

"While encouraging the bereaved families to take heart over their loss and be consoled, Mrs Eneh prayed for the repose of the deceased to have eternal rest."

She added; "Keep hope alive that though she is dead, she is already seated in heaven at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, where we shall see her again on the last day. "May God in his infinite mercies, forgive her shortcomings and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss," Mrs Eneh said.

"Although your family and loved ones would have wished that Akwete Nwanyi lived much longer than this age that death snatched her away but since God giveth and taketh, who are we to question the will of God?."

"Let us take solace in the fact that she lived a good christian life during her lifetime here on earth. Her good legacies shall continue to be remembered, even after she is no more. As she begins her final journey to the world beyond, may her gentle soul and the souls of all the faithful departed find eternal rest in his kingdom. Be rest assured that our hearts, prayers, and thoughts are with you, your family, family of Igwe's, and the good people of Awono-Owelli in this moment of your grief," Mrs Eneh added.

Adieu Akwete!!
