The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwe Eneh has congratulated constituents, the good people of Enugu State and Nigeria in general on the occasion of this year's 63rd Independence anniversary.

In her Independence Anniversary message, The Deputy Minority called on all and sundry to make concerted efforts in contributing to the nation-building project.

The full text of her message reads thus;

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION TO NIGERIA @63.

Independence Day is a good time to examine who we are  and how we got here.

No doubt, No nation is perfect. Achieving perfection in any nation is through a collaborative effort. Everyone has a role to play. In our Nigeria of today, everybody is expected to contribute his/her own quota for us to achieve that perfection of our desired dream.

"Today is the day,

That our nation sings.

This is the day,

That the liberty bell starts to ring."

"This is the day,

We all start to remember what we stand for."

"And to celebrate our Independence, We stand up high."

"As we decry the areas we have failed as a nation, we also think of individual and collective plans, and efforts to be made in correcting all wrongs.

"As we make our 63rd anniversary today, we remember those that died for us in the quest for a better Nigeria - For you, for me, for our whole country and, those still risking their lives till date."

"Each & every day, we owe them our salute. "Those are the real patroits who laid down their lives for the country to be liberated.”

"The sacrifices and dreams of our Heroes Past should not be in vain or taken for granted. So, let us join hands hands together as one in nation-building, by making concerted efforts in moving the country forward, without letting politics get in the way," Mrs Eneh advises.

"May God grant our country Nigeria Peace to overcome the challenges facing her," Mrs Eneh prays.

Happy National Day.

Happy 63rd Anniversary.

Happy Victory Day.

Happy Birthday 9ja.

Happy Independence Day.
