Awgu North Constituents have hailed the lawmaker representing the constituency, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Chinwe Eneh for paying attention to the needs of the people she represents.

Addressing the okada riders at Don Bassey Oil & Gas Nig. Ltd, located at Agbogugu Junction, on Friday, December 22nd, during the occasion of free fuel giveaway execise, the deputy minority leader thanked her constituents for their mandate and support all along. She assured the people of more dividends of democracy to improve their standard of living.

Commending the lawmaker, some of the constituents who spoke with JANE-CARESTV on Friday, December 22nd, "expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for her uncommon heart of gold and generosity."

Speaking with our reporter, Chief Cajethan Okoye, Awgu PDP Secretary said that Mrs Eneh is a philanthropist and has been known for putting smiles on the faces of the constituents since she assumed office in 2019.

"We are lucky to have her represent us. We have never had it this good before until her emergence as our representative. She is good at empowering her constituents in her own little way, and she loves to make people happy," Chief Okoye added.

Sunday Okonkwo, a constituent and beneficiary of the christmas free fuel giveaway exercise, said that God has been using the lawmaker to put smiles on the faces of many families within and outside the constituency. This is not the first, second, third, or fourth time she is sponsoring free distribution of fuel to the okada riders.

"We pray that God will continue to bless and reward her abundantly. Amidst this biting economic hardship across the country, Mrs Eneh still painstakingly made efforts to reach out to her constituents. This is quite commendable. This is not to forget the gifts she gives to her constituents every december, which have turned out to be an annual event for four years now. She gave out palliative during the COVID-19 lockdown, pays tuition fees of indigent students every term, attracted a good number of school building projects, empowered some constituents, sponsored adult literacy education program, donated sienna vehicle to neighbourhood watch for security patrols, celebrated Feb. 14 valentine with the youths, and also appointed over eighty aides in her first tenure, among others. Worthy of commendation is also the fact that she makes herself accessible and readily available to the people from time to time. We are happy to have her as our leader in this constituency," Mr Okonkwo stated.

The okada riders in their joy sang songs of solidarity to their representative and wished her God's sufficient grace to continue to soar higher in her political career.
