ENUGU DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER, ENEH WELCOMES CONSTITUENTS TO MONTH OF APRIL, EASTER MONDAY

The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh has welcomed constituents to Easter Monday/Month of April 2024. 

In a felicitation message made available to JANE-CARESTV on Monday,  April 01, 2024, she said, "It gives me great pleasure to convey my very best wishes to my family, friends, constituents, and well-wishers as we graciously step into the month of April 2024. 

Following the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, Easter Monday, falling on April 1, this year, marks the second day of Easter Octave, with a liturgical teaching on the mysteries of the resurrection of Christ. Similarly, on Easter Mondays, we reflect on the scriptural fulfilment of Christ's message of hope to his disciples when he says, "I will go before you to Galilee."

The scripture explained in the gospel of Mark 16:6-8, that the women, who went to the tomb to honour the body of the Lord at dawn, on the day after the Sabbath, were met by an angel who said said to them, "Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you.’ So they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement had seized them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid."

"Undoubtedly, Month of April, being the last month of the first quarter of every year represents a month of fulfilment," the deputy minority leader explains. 

"Therefore, I implore us to begin this month in faith, trusting God for amazing grace, good tidings, and fulfilment of God's promises to us."

"Conclusively, it is my earnest prayer that the light of God's mercy and grace will shine upon our lives this month and fill our days with the blessings of peace, happiness, and goodwill," the deputy minority leader added. 

"Happy New Month/Easter Monday to everyone," the deputy minority leader wishes.
