The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (JP) has lauded the Enugu First Lady over her commitment, resilience, and doings to better the lives of Enugu women for a brighter and prosperous future, of the state.

In her speech during the women's monthly gathering, the deputy minority leader advised "Enugu women to always concentrate in praying to God for his blessings, rather than focusing their minds on the material benefits they are getting from the program. I have been attending prayer gatherings at this Okpara Square since 2006, and I can conveniently tell you that God answers prayers," the deputy minority leader testifies.

The deputy minority leader describes the wife of the governor, Her Excellency, Mrs Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah's leadership and exemplary services to humanity as an inspiration to Enugu women.

Enugu women were all agog on Saturday, March 9, at Michael Okpara Square, Independence layout Enugu,  during the March edition of the Enugu State Women Monthly Prayer Network. 

Hosted by the office of the First Lady of Enugu State and prayer anchored by Mrs Favour Ugwuanyi, the monthly event serves as a fulfilment of the vision set forth by Her Excellency, Mrs Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, to regularly consecrate the state to God's guidance and protection. 

The prayer gathering, which also serves as a platform for educating and sensitizating of the women, had different dignitaries in attendance: Enugu State Speaker's wife, Mrs Ugwu; group of lawyers; Non-governmental organisations (NGOs); Pastors; representatives from the 17 local government areas in the state; women ministers who delivered different speeches and lectures; among others. 

With the March edition of the monthly Enugu State Women Prayer Network ending in praise, the deputy minority leader expressed optimism that the event is really serving as a reassuring hope and catalyst for positive change in the state.

Restating her stand that Enugu First Lady is a good role model whose generosity, integrity, and selfless services to humanity shines like a beacon across the state for every woman to emulate, the deputy minority leader calls on Ndi Enugu for more prayers and support to Her Excellency, Mrs Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, to enable her actualize her set down vision for the rise of Enugu women in every life endeavours. 





No doubt, our long-awaited tomorrow is truly here with a workaholic governor and her osodieme!!
