ENUGU DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER, ENEH SENDS HEART-WARMING BIRTHDAY MESSAGE TO ENUGU FIRST LADY

The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh has congratulated the Enugu First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, on occasion of her birthday today Monday, April 29. 

The deputy minority leader in her message applauded the wife of the governor for her motherly role and care for the women, children, and the vulnerable in the state. 

She noted that the First Lady's numerous interventions in the state for good governance, peaceful coexistence, and empowerment of vulnerable persons have contributed tremendously to the reshaping of the state.

The deputy minority leader, who is also the chairman, House Committee on Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development, said she is working to complement the efforts of the First Lady in women empowerment, as she had done during her first tenure. 

"I wish to acknowledge and commend your motherly care in the state and, in particular, acknowledge your contributions to the welfare of Enugu women and children through your inspiring leadership and exemplary services to humanity."

"As First Lady, you have inspired women to develop initiatives to ensure that the disruptive innovation we promised Ndi Enugu during campaign remained a shining light in the PDP-led administration. Today, Ndi Enugu can bear witnesses to the rapid transformation going on around the state. People's confidence in good governance has been restored back. Ndi Enugu can now understand clearly the promise of business unusual, as well as the philosophy of 'Tomorrow Is Here'. Courtesy of your efforts and the vision of your husband, Gov. Mbah."

"I rejoice with you as you celebrate your birthday today. I wish you sound health, wisdom, and God's guidance as carry on with the task of repositioning and addressing the plights of women, children, and vulnerable in the state," the deputy minority leader said in her statement.
