ENUGU DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER, ENEH COMMISERATES WITH NKIRU OKAFOR OVER DEATH OF HER FATHER

The Deputy Minority leader/Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (JP) has commiserated with Nkiru Okafor, former supervisor, Awgu local government council and staunch member of the Agudo women group, over the death of her beloved Father, late Mazi Basil Sunday Okafor (A.k.a De Catechist). 

The lawmaker who sent words of condolence to Nkiru Okafor and family, through her representatives to the funeral ceremony on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Obodo-Akpu Agbogugu, in Awgu LGA, Enugu State explained that it is a painful thing for one to lose a father, pointing out that late Mazi Basil Sunday Okafor, through his dedication and services to God, church and humanity, lived a fulfilled life. 

Responding, Nkiru Okafor thanked the deputy minority leader for identifying with her and her family at their moment of grief. 

Nkiru Okafor described the lawmaker as a worthy servant of the people who have been playing a different kind of politics worthy of emulation. 

She further described the deputy minority leader as a wonderful and caring representative, adding that her kind gestures at this time of the family's grief will forever be remembered.

Nkiru Okafor also thanked members of Agudo women and all who attended her father's funeral and prayed God to bless them abundantly.
