ENUGU DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER, ENEH ATTENDS PDP AWGU LG MEETING, THANKS NDI AWGU FOR THEIR VOTES TO PDP, CALLS FOR SUPPORT TO GOV. MBAH-LED ADMINISTRATION

The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (JP), on Friday, May 17, attended Awgu local government meeting of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

The meeting was held at the Civic Hall of Awgu local government secretariat with a good turn out of serving and past House of Assembly members, serving and past commissioners, past council chairmen, party local government and ward excos, stakeholders, party faithful, among others.


The Party Chairman, Awgu local government council, Hon. Okeh Nathan Udeh, who welcomed everyone to the meeting, encouraged members for continuous active participation, unity, and support to the party. 

Speaking during the meeting, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh thanked Awgu local government stakeholders and party members across the wards for their votes and support to all the PDP candidates during the 2023 general election. 



"Today, your votes and choice at the poll are paying off, as our dear governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is positively changing the face of Enugu State with massive infrastructural projects across the state, of which Awgu is witnessing the ongoing construction of smart schools and Type-2 Primary Healthcare facilities across the wards," the deputy minority leader stated. 

"For a more formidable party and membership strength, I urge every party member and stakeholder to also make time to attend the scheduled PDP ward meeting on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Let us show renewed commitment to the unity and progress of the party, as well as support to Gov. Mbah-led administration," the deputy minority leader added. 

The meeting ended successfully with party faithful chanting different party's solidarity songs.
