The Deputy Minority leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh (JP) has lauded the Senate Minority Whip and Senator representing Enugu West Senatorial district, Sen. Osita Ngwu on the successful Town Hall Meeting. 

On Sunday, July 14, 2024, the Enugu West Senatorial District witnessed a highly successful town hall meeting with the theme "Laying the foundation for a brighter future." 

The event, organized by the distinguished senator representing the district, Engr. Osita Ngwu (RG) took place at the Awgu Local Government Secretariat. It saw an impressive turnout of serving and past political office holders, top stakeholders, party executives at various levels, aides, PDP party members, and notable men and women across the district.

The presence of Sen. Osita Ngwu, who facilitated the meeting, underscored his commitment to fostering direct communication and engagement with his constituents. The interactive session provided a unique platform for one-on-one discussions, enabling constituents to voice their concerns, ask pertinent questions, and gain firsthand insights into the senator's plans and ongoing projects.

"As the member representing Awgu North Constituency and a resident of this esteemed district, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Sen. Osita Ngwu for organizing such an important and interactive session. His dedication to transparent governance and active community involvement is truly commendable. We pray for more grace upon him to continue to soar higher in his political career and to achieve even greater milestones in his administration," the deputy minority leader prays.

"I wish to also express gratitude to the representatives from various local governments in Enugu West who, despite their tight schedules, made time to attend the town hall meeting. Their presence and active participation contributed significantly to the success of the event," the deputy minority leader stated. 

"Sen. Osita Ngwu's tenure has already been marked by remarkable achievements. His unwavering commitment to the development of the Enugu West Senatorial District is evident in the numerous projects and initiatives he has spearheaded. His landmark achievements in office, even within a short period, are a testament to his vision and dedication to public service," the deputy minority leader said. 

During the town hall meeting, Sen. Ngwu provided well-explained answers to the questions posed by participants, demonstrating his deep understanding of the issues and his readiness to address them effectively. His transparency and willingness to engage in open dialogue have further solidified the trust and confidence of his constituents.

"I encourage the people of Enugu West Senatorial District to continue to pray for and support Sen. Osita Ngwu and other government functionaries across the district. Their collective efforts and commitment are essential for realizing the dividends of democracy in our zone. Together, we can build a brighter and more prosperous future for all," the deputy minority leader added.

We look forward to more such interactive sessions that bring public servants and constituents together, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration for the greater good of Enugu West Senatorial District," the deputy minority leader added.
