Today, Monday, August 12, 2024, marks a special occasion - International Youth Day. As the representative of Awgu North Constituency, I, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, i'm thrilled to celebrate the potential, accomplishments, and contributions of our teeming youths.

On this day, we recognize the incredible value and worth of our young people, not just for their future prospects but for the immense impact they have on our society today. Youths are worth celebrating every day, not just on International Youth Day.

As we embrace the theme of this year's celebration, "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development," I urge our young people to reflect on the significance of digital knowledge in driving progress and sustainable development. As youngsters at the forefront of digital adoption and technology, you have the power to shape our future.

I encourage you to seize this opportunity to gain digital skills, innovate, and collaborate towards creating a better world. Your energy, creativity, and passion are essential in harnessing the potential of technology for societal growth.

As you celebrate this special day, I wish you a happy and fruitful International Youth Day. May this occasion inspire you to reach new heights and make a positive impact in our constituency and beyond.

Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh has hailed the governor of the state, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on the implementation of the full scholarship award offer to the 11-year-old Enugu-born minor, Miss Happiness Nwafor, who was violently abused by her guardian, Mrs Adachukwu Okafor, an Onitsha-based female lawyer, now at large.
