Yesterday, September 11, 2024, the People's Democratic Party campaign team for Awgu local government chairmanship election, alongside Enugu deputy minority leader and member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh embarked on a historic visit to Awgu ward 1 and Awgu ward 2. The team was met with an overwhelmingly warm welcome by the people of both wards, who turned out in numbers to show their support.

Mrs. Eneh, speaking with JANE-CARESTV, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the people of Awgu wards 1 and 2 for their hospitality and enthusiasm. "We are deeply touched by the warmth and kindness shown to us today. Your support is a testament to the trust and confidence you have in our candidates, Hon. Uchenna Okolo and Dr. Stanley Ezediuto," Mrs Eneh stated.
Mrs. Eneh is using this occasion to urge the people of Awgu wards 1 and 2 to translate their support into votes on September 21st, saying, "We implore you to come out in large numbers to cast your ballots for Uchenna Okolo and Stanley Ezediuto as chairman and deputy chairman of Awgu local government. They are committed to delivering good governance and sustainable development to our beloved Awgu," Mrs Eneh urges.
The campaign team's visit to Awgu wards 1 and 2 marked a significant milestone in the lead-up to the September 21st poll. With the people's support, Mrs. Eneh is confident that Uchenna Okolo and Stanley Ezediuto will emerge victorious, bringing about positive change and progress to Awgu local government.
