Gov. Peter Ndubuisi of Enugu State

In a drive towards sustainable socio-economic development, Enugu State’s Community and Social Development Agency (ENUGU-CSDA) has taken significant steps in implementing community infrastructural projects across the seventeen local government areas in the state. The agency's efforts align closely with Governor Peter Mbah's vision for a prosperous, inclusive state, delivering essential services directly to the grassroots.

             Mrs Ugwunnadi Ugochukwu, ACA.

The acting general manager of ENUGU-CSDA, Mrs. Ugwunnadi Ugochukwu, ACA, has led this initiative, overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of social infrastructural projects, including water reticulation systems that are bringing much-needed portable water supply to communities such as Ugbo-Okpala, Amoli, Enugu-Owelli, Agbudu, Obom, Obodoakpu communities in Awgu North Constituency, among others, in the state. Once drilling and reticulation are complete in a community, the agency moves on to the next, ensuring every locality within the state gains access to portal water supply, a lifeline for health and quality of life in rural areas.

                     AGBUDU COMMUNITY

ENUGU-CSDA is dedicated to empowering communities through projects that foster resilience and self-reliance, aiming to reduce poverty and enhance access to essential services, particularly healthcare, education, and water supply. The agency’s mission echoes Gov. Mbah’s commitment to building a healthy, inclusive, and prosperous Enugu State, transforming communities at the grassroots level through tangible and sustainable infrastructures.

              ENUGU-OWELLI COMMUNITY

Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh (JP), Deputy Minority Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and representative for Awgu North Constituency, has played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth rollout of these projects in her constituency. Working closely with Mrs. Ugwunnadi, Mrs. Eneh has been instrumental in advocating for development resources for her constituency and closely monitors these projects’ progress.

                     AMOLI COMMUNITY

In a recent statement, Mrs. Eneh commended Gov. Mbah for "walking the talk" on his campaign promises, stressing that his swift achievements underscore his preparedness and commitment to propel Enugu into an era of unprecedented progress.

                       OBOM COMMUNITY

"With records of massive infrastructural projects ongoing across Enugu urban and rural communities, witnessed by all within and beyond the state, there's no doubt that a prosperous tomorrow is not just achievable – it's already unfolding before us," Mrs. Eneh declared.

                  OBODOAKPU COMMUNITY

She also highlighted the administration’s commitment to economic transformation, lauding Gov. Mbah’s achievements as a testament to his visionary leadership. "Gov. Mbah’s rapid accomplishments are worthy of commendation. It is clear that he came prepared to reposition Enugu's economy in the comity of states. Truly, Mbah is God-sent to the people of Enugu State," she added.

UGBO-OKPALA COMMUNITY

ENUGU-CSDA’s approach aligns closely with this vision, aiming to foster community resilience through projects that directly benefit citizens, particularly the most vulnerable. By facilitating micro-projects focused on healthcare, water supply, and other essential services, the agency is building the foundations of a more resilient Enugu. Its focus on community empowerment and inclusive socio-economic growth embodies a progressive approach to governance, one that places grassroots development at the heart of state advancement.

As the agency continues its work across Awgu and other local government areas in the state, the partnership between ENUGU-CSDA and constituency representatives like Mrs. Eneh serves as a model of effective governance – one that prioritizes the needs of the people and builds a brighter, healthier future for Enugu State.
