In a landmark move, Enugu State Gov. Peter Mbah has approved a new minimum wage of #80,000 for workers, an action that has garnered praises from people across the state. The Deputy Minority Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and representative for Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh (JP) has publicly commended the governor for this bold initiative, hailing it as a critical step towards improving the welfare of Enugu's workforce amid challenging economic times.


In a statement shared through JANE-CARESTV, Mrs. Eneh expressed deep appreciation for Gov. Mbah’s commitment to the well-being of Enugu workers, recognizing the significance of this pay increase as a beacon of hope during this difficult time for many families.
