The Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on receiving an Honorary Doctorate award in Business Administration and Corporate Governance during the 20th Convocation Ceremony of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Describing the award as a well-deserved honour, Mrs. Eneh commended Gov. Mbah for his outstanding contributions to the fields of business administration and corporate governance. She highlighted his trailblazing achievements, particularly his leadership in Pinnacle Oil and Gas and his dedication to excellence in governance. His work, she noted, has not only brought significant development to Enugu State but has also left an indelible mark on national and global news.

“Governor Mbah’s legacy in business and governance is one that will be remembered for generations,” Mrs. Eneh remarked. “This honorary doctorate award is a true testament to his exceptional vision, unwavering dedication, and the transformative impact he continues to make in the lives of the people of Enugu and beyond.”

Mrs. Eneh also hails the governor’s forward-thinking initiatives in education, evident in the strides being made at ESUT under his administration. From infrastructural development to the introduction of experiential learning policy, Gov. Mbah has demonstrated an unmatched commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the state. His investments in innovation and research, including the policy for establishment of a Centre for Experiential Learning, underscore his belief in the power of education as a catalyst for societal transformation.

As Gov. Mbah continues to lead with purpose and vision, Mrs. Eneh wished him even greater success in his endeavours. “Your Excellency, may this honour inspire you to achieve even greater feats. We, the people of Enugu, are proud of your accomplishments and are confident in your ability to continue steering our state towards a brighter future,” she added.

The honorary award at ESUT is another feather added to the governor’s cap, reinforcing his status as a trailblazer in governance and business. His achievements serve as an inspiration, not only to the people of Enugu State but also to the entire nation, as a shining example of leadership grounded in excellence and service.
